Love the War Games reference. One of my favorite movies.

Last year I believe only a very select few of the beers were on tap after the event like BA Hunter, BA Brown, BA Devils Spear but really don't think BBcrazy or any other BA Hunter with adjuncts was available. And definitely only the BA brown and BA Devils Spear were available in bottle AFTER the event. Not to be a downer or anything but I doubt all 7 BA beers or even half will be on tap after this years event. Just my guess since Drew wanted to make it a more "exclusive" experience. But would be cool for the general public.

I bet most if not all of them will still be on tap after session 2. He cut off ticket sales with 100 tickets still unsold, so there are only 3/4th the people intended to drink the kegs. I wouldn't hold my breath for any bottle sales afterwards though as he already claimed there would be none.

But lets face it, the guy is all about money. If there's extra bottles, he will likely sell them to someone.

I don't think they get dumped down the drain. Maybe not Friday, but those bottles are likely getting bought at some point. Next year's massacre maybe?

The odds are better that multiple bottles will be offered to event attendees. With that in mind, watch the trade forum during the event.

Or be patient and wait for the asks to become reasonable once people outside the event have drank the beer...

I bet extra bottles and kegs go to limited events only and some goes to Copenhagen.

This is what I'm hoping for, if they do go on sale to general public it will be last they see of my business.

The day after the last barrel massacre they still had every bottle available except Bitch B Crazy. The tap list the day after was still very good. BA Hunter, BA Hunter Coconut, BA Hunter chili pepper, BA hunter Vanilla, BA Devils spear, BA Orange Vanilla... all still up or on tap the next 2 days. They had the BA brown ale on tap sporadically for months. The brown ale bottles lasted days, the Hunter bottles sold out by the end of Saturday.

I doubt some of the more exclusive beers (cognac bitches bank) will be left, but I bet one or two hold overs are still on tap. I can't see them going through that many kegs of BA beer in 6 hours.

They could always untap them and save them, most likely for their anniversary party.

True...but I think uncapping a keg can be similar to corking a bomber after opening it a placing it back in the fridge for the next night. You'll begin to see oxidation and other problems occur. Just my 2¢ though. Why not sell out of the keg?

This is not true at all. You can untap a keg and re-tap it and it'll be fine

You think there was bitching about price, watch what happens if it's really not available after the event.

Mostly true... but I for sure bought both on Sunday following DLD on my way back to Indy from Chicago... Pretty sure both bled into the week as well.

Why? I am guessing you are using these for trade value only?

That's part of the problem I have with this hobby. People hoard, then use for trades, which puts people who plan to consume the product in the position of never getting anything even remotely rare/limited. I've never bought something I didn't plan on consuming myself or giving to a friend.

Well you got me figured out. Let's just give them all to you so you can consume them.

Thanks for being the craft beer police for everyone. Not that it's any of your business what I do with anything after I purchase it. If you don't like the craft beer hobby by all means quit, no one is making you partake in it. Just curious what proof you have that I'm just gonna hoard as many bottles as possible then turn around and trade them? People like you are just as big of problems as hoarders, you think your entitled to everything. Sadly that isn't how many things in life work, but please continue to throw accusations at people you don't know.
