Brewpub Koffury release will be 2 4pk/person and be from 3-7pm Thurs while supplies last. No tickets; first come first served.

 

I'm just doing the math in my head and they must have made a good bit of this beer. Someone can correct me but I believe they usually have 280 tickets for regular releases which is what this has and then they also released beer at the brew pub? Seems like they made quite a bit. I am hoping to really love this beer so fingers crossed!

 

I feel like I remember there being closer to 350 tickets at previous releases. With the difference of 70 3-4pk allotments, that would mean somewhere around 100+ 2-4pk allotments. I'm sure how much they get out of a batch varies with the crazy amounts of hops in their ipas and now coffee in this stout, but it was brewed on the same system and with a bunch of other beers coming up I bet they'll have the other fermentors full. I'm hoping that since they're doing this on a weekday it'll last a bit longer.

Maybe they had a slightly larger capacity... they didn't have releases two weekends in a row, so I figure (maybe) they brewed a bit more.

Fingers crossed... I'm gonna shoot to make it there around 5 tomorrow. Damn real life getting in the way of beer. This release is likely going to be allocated to the Columbus locals though. I can't see someone in Cleveland/Cincy driving after work (considering a typical 8-5pm) and making it before the Columbus people get there.

 

Do they have a tap list anywhere online? Trying to see what will be available tomorrow.

So, how quick do you guys think todays release will sell out? I know DL is a pain to get tickets to, but I think that will take away some of the regular attendees.

I said 5 earlier and holding true to that. It should be great! Can't wait. I just have to remember when I go, that they take the 5 bucks off the price of the 3 - 4 packs. I think I have gotten screwed the last two times I went.

Well I know someone will, but hopefully a lot of people will post impressions on the beer tomorrow! Very anxious to see what the end result is. I am imagining a great stout with a lot of coffee added per Hoofs desire to hop the hell out of every beer they have. Hopefully it isn't overbearing!

 

The thing that's great about the ticket sales is that now when they release something new I usually just get a draft of it first, then depending on how much I like it I can get back in line at any time to buy my cans without having to worry about them selling out. I see a lot of people just buy their full allotment as soon as they get to the counter without ever having even tried a sip which I just don't understand.

 

Damn...I was way off with my guess. Glad I got a ticket. See you other lucky people on Sunday.

 

The first time through, I was on my way back to Pittsburgh and just grabbed my Roller Blabe allotment and went. Luckily my dad said why not grab a glass first. Since then, I always grab a glass. I should have grabbed my full allotment of South Of Eleven though. That beer was amazing! I will def get a sample of this though to try first as I am again forced to buy and run.

BTW, kept track of the time on my phone, sold out in 1 minute and 33 seconds.
