My girlfriend and I were both able to get our tickets... One right away and I was able to snag mine about 20mins later or so. I figured this release would be quick to sell.

 

Lets just hope its as good as we're all assuming it will be. Waited in the cold for two hours for a bottle of mom jeans and now I'm afraid to open it as the Untappd reviews aren't all that flattering.

 

Yeah... I plan to grab a draft first before deciding how much I want to buy of it. Not going to buy the max blindly, especially at 14.99/4-pack

 

Hmm I wouldn't be against helping consume a few of those. I'll be out of town so I didn't even try for the tickets or pressure any mules. Pretty impressive how quickly they sold out. That JO rep tho!

 

As long as it doesn't turn out like Skittley Bittley Bop... We should be OK. I have faith with collab though.

 

Lol I still have a bottle of this in the fridge. I keep thinking one night when I've had too much and I don't care what I consume anymore I'll open it up but even in those situations I look at it and think....ehhhhh.

First time caller, long time listener (who doesn't read).
Whats the best time to show up on Sunday at Marengo? Long waits? Any waits? Bottle sharing I hear?

 

Last year I would have told you to get there at 9 AM for this one but now that it's ticketed you can show up honestly any time you want (as long as you have a ticket) between 12 PM and 5 PM and grab your cans. Really no need to get there early. The only thing that could potentially happen by coming later would be them tapping out of something and you not being able to get a pour but I haven't seen that happen much lately. The other exception is if they have leftover cans of a prior release or they are doing a bottle release then you probably need to get there early since those are first come first serve but that's not the case this Sunday.

 

I don't think there is a best or worst time. I usually get in around 3 pm and there are people hanging out all around but I grab a beer pretty quickly and then my cans right after. If you go earlier, I am sure there is probably a longer wait.

 

Even if your in line early (say 11:30 AM) and they open the door at noon you might not even get to the counter until almost 1:00 PM sometimes because it moves so slow. I would suggest getting there later when it dies down if your not in a rush.

 

Yeah, I will likely get there around 12 but won't get in line until later sometime. Just chill with friends and stuff until the line dies down. As mentioned before, as long as you have your ticket your fine showing up whenever.
