I would assume production really slowed down while the new brewery was being built. They're pretty much a one man operation.

Nobody was buying them. Last I saw at Belmont they were all old and being discounted. Wouldn't be surprised if they're just not stocking them anymore.

That would be a shame, they make some great beer. I actually spotted a couple bottles down at City Beer Store in SF two weekends ago. Need to make my way out to Port Townsend for a visit sometime.

Bumping an old thread, but I had totally forgotten that Propolis now puts their beer in 375s. $8 for a little bottle of Beltane at the grocery store is a thing of wonder.

New batch of Pi is also great. Doesn't quite reach the levels of previous batch, but I'm sure it just needs more time.

I picked up a bottle of Vesca at the Ballard Farmers Market a few weeks ago. Sublime. Will get another if I get the chance.

I miss the days of being able to pick up a 750 ml of Urban Farmhouse or Upright Four snd usually under $10.

Nobody makes a simple saison in Portland that's available year round anymore. The Commons is gone and Upright stopped their number beers. Everything now is either a seasonal / limited release, usually barrel aged and/or has fruit in it - and definitely not under $10.

E9 is what you seek. (For a while until they put them in 500s...)

E9's distro here in PDX is pretty erratic. But their stuff definitely hits the price point for 750s - when I can find it.

Level's Ready Player One is a decent saison at a regular 6 pack price, unless you're specifically referring to barrel-aged and wild beers.

Logsdon? Unless you mean literally brewed in Portland...

Logsdon is a good one. Seems like a lot of their beers are being bottled in 375 ml now. And their 750 ml usually break the $10 mark.

Speaking of Logsdon... What is going on? Seems like every new brewery is a former brewer from There. They must have a high turnover rate.

Haven’t tried that one. I just figured it was another IPA, because lord knows there aren’t enough of those around.

Speaking of that, Little Beast also has some saisons that float around the $10 mark.

I really like Bes, but that’s usually around $12. That has been my go to as of late.
