What brewers other then Funky Buddha and Cigar City would you guys recommend me testing out. I'm driving down from Ohio and I'm looking for some stuff I can't get up here.

You definitely have to check out Civil Society Brewing in Jupiter, they are making some of the best hoppy brews in the state. Due South also has some pretty good stuff.

Atlantic Coast going south on I - 95

Ditto on Civil Society in Jupiter - Their IPAs are excellent and they have a good saison and milk stout
Twisted Trunk in Palm Beach Gardens is only 10 minutes away from Civil Society. They have a nice tap room, a couple really good IPAs and a damn good Pilsner.
Next stop is Copperpoint and Due South in Boyton Beach.
Saltwater Brewery In Delray Beach - it's worth checking it out but I would skip it if short on time
If you like Belgian Beer, Barrel of Monks in Boca Raton is definitely worthwhile.
Funky Buddha has a lounge/brewery in Boca but the main, huge tap room is in Oakland Park which is basically Fort Lauderdale.
Wynwood/Miami has J Wakefield, Wynwood Brewery and Concrete Beach. No matter what people on this site think of Jon Wakefield, he brews some of the best f'in beer not only in Florida, but in the country! In my opinion, going to Florida and missing JWB is like going to Vermont and not going to Hill Farmstead.

I picked a 6-pack of this and 2-six packs of Jai Alai on my recent FL trip - in retrospect I wish I had switched those. This one was soooo good and, dare I say, much better than Jai Alai.

I can see that. Then again...it can depend on your point of view. :sunglasses: I think I was probably in a pretty good frame of mind when I reviewed this one. :grinning:

That should be the picture of the beer can on the Jai Alai page ...

Swamp Head is a quick drive off of either the Archer Rd. Or better still the Williston Rd. Exits from I-75. If for some reason you are coming down I-95, check out Aardwolf Brewing in Jacksonville, just off the freeway, or venture over to the Riverside neighborhood to drink at Bold City, or Intuition Brewing, both a couple of blocks apart...can't go wrong with Cigar City in Tampa, a quick drive off of I-275. Enjoy!

Where are you driving TO in Florida? Seems answering that question would help guide answers.

Cigar City Invasion, Jai Alai, Cycle's Crank IPA, and 7venth Sun's The Klaw (perhaps unavailable) were my 4 favorites on my March trip into town

There is a thread called Visiting Tampa/St Pete. That would help you out. I recommend Coppertail, Unholy is really good. There is a store off I-75 in Brandon called the Craft Beer Cellar, it carries a lot of local stuff.

Here is the thread that @The_Snow_Bird mentions above. If you have a day at the beginning and/or end of your trip, maybe you'd consider staying a night in either Tampa or downtown St Petersburg to enjoy some of all the good stuff offered around here. At the very least, I'd recommend -- again, if you don't have a super-hard deadline of getting down to Fort Myers -- hopping off I-75 to take I-275 through Tampa and St Pete and over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. It'll add some time to your drive and you may well just wanna get where you're going but the bridge is gorgeous and that route would allow you to jump off the interstate to some super-close places (e.g., Angry Chair, Cigar City, Total Wine plus Cycle and Green Bench, for example) along the way.

The South-Atlantic forum turns over a lot. I write that as a prelude to this: Do a search here for Fort Myers. Some great BAs from down that way (I'm looking at you, @Yourahoser) have put together some nice replies to questions exactly like yours. They may be four or more pages deep (why you wanna use the Search function) but won't be more than two months old.
