I typically just watch these threads for information/entertainment purposes and refrain from chiming in, but it's my first DLD so I'll try to help this thread reach it's goal of 100 pages. I'm bringing:

I threw a bunch of beers in my large cooler last night.....I couldn't tell you everything that's in there. Packing my soft sided cooler today before hitting the road.

 

If anybody is staying at the Fairfield Inn and down to share after the event, I'm putting a few brews aside to share, cheers!

Pretty much just a lurker here but since we're trying to get to page 100... here's what I'm bringing:

New Day: Imperial Breakfast Magpie (barrel aged coffee blackberry Mead so needs to be drank in line)

I figure I don't have really have any whales to bring so I'll just bring some interesting regional stuff

 

I have a point id like to re hash again. I just saw that FFF sent an email with info about the fest yestersday. In info it is mentioned that only group A will line up on the north gate. Our group has people in multiple groups including group A, can we all enter through the north gate? has FFF ever specifically said only A through the north gate like they did this year?

 

Probably won't increase the disdain she already has for me!

 

Every year they instruct Group A to go to the north gate, and other groups to go to the south Gate, but they will not deny entry to you if you have a later group and go to the North Gate. This is simply a means of crowd control and they want the Group As to get in and straight into the Dark Lord sales line as fast as possible.

 

I'm pretty sure you can enter from wherever you want. I think they are just making it easier for you to scoot in to get your bottles quicker.

 

Just wanted to say that Imperial Breakfast Magpie is one of the best beer or non-beer things I've ever had at FoBaB. Only downside is that it's not available outside of Indiana.

 

Imperial isn't available outside of the meadery....at least Regular Magpie see distribution to the state. Both are phenomenal....might have to grab a couple of each to bring up tomorrow.....
