Glad to see the truck following / bottle hoarding reputation of chicago BA's is still going strong.

 

To be fair, Gerrit doesn't drive a truck.

 

Don't know if this is weird nowadays, but I was happy to get my one bottle at South Loop Binny's (left two on the shelf). There are a ton of local breweries that I like to support!

Plus I don't have to be upset because I just picked up 2 bottles, so I got what I was looking for

 

That's pretty ridiculous that this got delivered today.. and there are two bottles left.

 

They may have had more in the back, but just the three on the shelf when I was there. I just assumed that the guy who bought all those bottles went to South Loop.

 

I agree with immobilisme, I was just at the Binny's on Grand and there were only 4 bottles left on the shelf, so I was originally only going to grab 1, but then after talking to the beer guy he said they had plenty more in the back, but just had shelf space for a case at a time, so I didn't feel so bad taking 2 bottles. That's most likely the case.


EDIT: They also had Standard Issue IPA!

 

Binny's South Loop still had more in back, but were really surprised they had to replenish the floor so quickly.

Anybody else going to The Village Tap tonight? On Pipework's Facebook page they said they were going to be bringing some bottles including Blue Lady.

9 left at south loop. Opened last case when I was there.

 

I'm going to head over in an hour or so to see the Obama speech and check out what they have on tap. If you want say hi, I am in shorts, a black polo shirt and have a big yellow North Face backpack.

 

i stopped in at about 530 ish. on new bottles, i pick up one. on stuff i had, depending on release, 2 or three. i asked for blue lady and the gents at the counter (wlv) asked how man i wanted. only one for now. i'll have it today and if good. more to come.

 

South loop had a bunch of their other releases available. Was able to fill in a couple things I missed. :-)

And people wonder why i impose bottle limits.

 

Binny's may be going crazy on this beer but plenty of smaller stores have plenty. I just picked up a couple bottles and saw a few cases on top of the 2 shelves they had stocked with it. Might pick up more tomorrow after I've had it.
