Can somebody post how the lines working this year once they start letting people in (referencing voucher handout). Just found out my wife is pregnant and and doesn't make sense for her to go out into this mess. She still wants me to pick up her allocation with her ticket (I at least married someone with a taste for stouts).

Congrats on the pregnancy, but you may be SOL on picking up her allotment. I believe that they don't allow singles to go through the DL line twice; not sure how they police that, so maybe you might be able to sneak through.

Otherwise, you may need to rent a mule to get her allotment. There are some corporate passes that were handed out to vendors, as well as to some of the businesses adjacent to the festival grounds. Maybe you can find a willing local who'll help you out.

    Good luck!

    (I mean on the pregnancy...)

If it helps your wife...I'm pregnant and going. 6.5months and counting. I'm bringing my dad so he can drink for me(husband is out of town) I'm still bringing bottles to share and having my dad get shares and drafts to enjoy for me. I'm going for the food, bottles, and sheer entertainment of the event! 3 years and counting going to the event...first time sober...and DD....

South line may look just as long as north but North line has all the back-and-forth raceways towards the front that actually will make it twice( or more) as long. I've already been in there collected my bottles went back to the car and moving In south line. There will be group a that don't even get inside the gates before B sales start.

Over 1000 vanilla militia about 700 marshmallow Handjee. Didn't inquire about others, got a marshmallow for myself

Someone says this every year, and every year it's not true.

The workers were saying it. Complete clusterfuck; as said above, Group A people (myself included) stayed North because they were told it was a line straight to the Dark Lord line. Two hours later, I'm in line for my bottles behind Group B people, despite being there at 10:15. Rarely do I complain about beer events being handled badly, but this was a miserable experience. Major respect to the people who are braving the elements for the interminable lines (for EVERYTHING).

Three Floyd's said it in the email they sent yesterday, and yes, it's not true.

I had a great time but quit early because the bottle lines were moving way too fast which left the other lines insanely long. If I could have gotten another plate of food I may have toughed it out but wasn't waiting 2 hours.

Only thing jaw dropping I saw in the guest taps was prop which tapped while I was in line and blew before I got to order. Got a BA moloko with chillis as my consolation.

As for dark lord taps...Had Aquavit dark lord which was insanely sweet and dwarven power bottom which I didn't enjoy at all. Hope everyone had fun. Me and my French vanilla militia will be cuddled up tonight.

Floyds didn't. Etix did. Floyds said either gate but shorter line at south gate. Which may have been a lie, south gate line was insane all day.

Yeah, it was the etix email, which had other festival information, so I assumed three Floyd's drafted the communication.
