Variants I saw on tap: muerte and bourbon barrel, back to back at the same tent

I enjoyed that the tent forced us to listen to the bands. The first "band" sounded like a cross between pigs shot in the face with a caddle prod (that didn't kill them) and a clown having his finger names pulled off at Guantanamo. Pure poetry.

I barely got some. Went fast, not sure if they just pulled it or it kicked.

Great fights this year though. Especially one near the road on the way out. Fists, pushing, rolling in the mud.

Honestly, I can understand why people get upset but I was at Hunaphu's Day 3 years ago and this in comparison was paradise. The only downside was the weather, which no one can help. It took 5 hours but the rain finally soaked through my multiple layers and I actually bought a new t-shirt and hoodie and changed in the port-o-potty.

Otherwise, I met some spectacular folks in line to get in and and while waiting for my bottles, ate good food, drank great beer and 3 Floyd's merch/coffee game is on point. I'd totally make the trek from Florida again.

Must fix for 2017 - Food. The lines for food this year were ridiculous in the late afternoon (4-6ish). They need more food tents/food trucks. I was about to stand in the Donermen line but it was incredibly long & incredibly not moving. So i decided to skip the food and get another beer.

The good. The bottle line was shockingly quick. I was group C and entered about 3:30-4ish and the time from entering the line to walking out of the warehouse was about 10-15 minutes. Don't know if I lucked out timing wise or if this is the new normal but it was quite a surprise given prior experience.

The comic book line was quite short around 4. Maybe a ten minute wait. All three guys (Brian, Simon & Nick) were quite toasted at this point. All were very nice, however.

A quick summary I think FFF did a great job overall. Not many mud spots like last year (mostly gravel this year it seems). Fix the food situation and reduce the pre-paid vouchers to $20. I think that's more reasonable. Other than that I think it was an improved event over last year.

Worst DLD in 4 years. Took over 2 hours to get in. Bathroom situation was fucked. Food line was 45 mins long. Really whack. Won't be returning next year.

The food line at White Castles was fairly short. For fff, that's the old school way.

I had a great time. Best DLD ever, even with the rain. Got in the south gate quick, easy access to food and guest/DLD taps. The food was good, the variety of guest tap beers was good and the line to get my allotment and variant moved as fast as I could walk.
Managed to score a BBADL group C, which was awesome.

This year was worse than last, both in weather and overall experience. How it takes 3 hours to get in the gate is just stupid. Beyond then, the maze lines where everywhere. The guest taps were really weak. Hot sauce - couldn't find it. Everywhere you went there was some kind of snaking line.

Overall after we got in, I spent two hours there and that was enough.

I was in an hour and had no problem getting in the bathroom. Food line sucked, but I passed on that. I'll be back.

$40 per person in vouchers was a money grab, plain and simple. They knew that not everyone would spend that much in beer and food. How many places were there to grab a bite to eat for 9,000 people? The answer - not enough.

I left with $20 unspent - so did my friend. Next year make it $20, or allow the vouchers to go towards merchandise as well.

So you were one of the many people I capitalized on...pretty much collected free beer as people left and we closed it down. Saw some 2013 dark Lord at the end. Definitely got way more than I paid for.

I think it just takes some getting used to. I didn't spend more than $15 of my vouchers, but I don't care. I had a blast. Good shares, great people.

Same here. I had to be a bit aggressive, but I got one. My buddy sold his on the way out for $150. I thought that was a bad move.
