Hoof Hearted

Their tank fabricator is located in Portland, Maine. One of the people at the fabricator started a small distribution company. That is the short story from what I understand.

 

It's rocking a 4.43 on Untappd so far so looks promising. Only complaint I have seen is that its too thin.

 

Anyone know if Koffury is still on draft at the Brewpub? May stop by this afternoon on the way home from work

So just making sure, we are looking at the next canned released at Marengo to be the EWS Calypso? I hope they have some stuff brewing in their heads for June because I really want to have another stellar IPA!

 

They are planning on Rose Gosé next I think, but mentioned that they'd move the date because it conflicted with another release on 5/15. I was under the impression that Calypso was further away.

 

For some reason I thought the Gose was brewpub. Well, I wish I enjoyed Goses!

 

"Miracle Toast" Imperial Stout (with added cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup) coming in bottles 5/15, per Instagram. Cool artwork. Looks like the foray into dark beer territory has just begun!

 

Seems weird timing with the stout run but that does sound really good!

 

This beer is incredible and delicious... That is all haha. It met the hype for sure and I hope they do this brew next year at some point. Has the most coffee flavor of any beer I have drank.

 

I will add to the love for Koffury. It is very tasty. Lots of coffee with a little chocolatey sweetness on the end.

I'm also extremely excited to try that Miracle Toast. Nice to have a little bit of variety after all those dank hop bombs.

 

Picked up Koffury today on my way home from DLD. Someone was kind enough to share some with me this weekend, so I knew I didn't want to miss out on grabbing my allotment.

On another note, shared some Hoof beers this weekend. Got rave reviews and surprised looks. Hopefully made a few converts. Well done HH!

 

Koffury is a tasty beer... I am happy it turned out well! Coffee flavor is nice (not old/stale tasting like a certain skittley bop!). Stout flavor is really smooth and a nice. Def one of the top beers for them! It met expectations for me. I am curious to see how it ages long term with the coffee.

Was such a beautiful day at Hoof yesterday, until near the end when we moved inside when the rain moved in. Brought along our chairs and enjoyed the sun for a few hours. The little food truck vendor they had was pretty sweet as well, the gyro I got was fantastic.

I still can't get over how awesome the "Hoof experience" is, especially when it is nice outside.

Looks like Wangbar is next Saturday.

 

I had some guy at Fat Head's randomly ask if I wanted a 4 pack of Kofurry. Uh, sure!! If you are on BA, thanks again, man.

As for the beer, it tasted fine but was on the thin side for me.

 

Wangbar facebook event is up, confirmed for Sunday. Looks like this'll be the first release I've missed in a while. They might have trouble selling all the tickets for this one.

 

Interesting... The brewer yesterday told us Saturday vs. Sunday. I wonder if they messed up online or last minute date change.

 

Any word on when Rose Gose is being released?
