Visited Fullers this morning and picked up a 1910 Double Stout before enjoying a pint of ESB in the Mawson Arms. Cans of Speckled Hen and Tyskie before this Omnipollo Noa Pecan Mud Cake stout.

Stopped by Euston Tap today. Had the pleasure of trying two awesome Tiny Rebel beers. Hadouken IPA was really nice. I had the Stay Puft on cask and it is a really interesting and delicious beer IMO. Tons of marshmallow on the nose, a bit sweet at first taste and then fantastic porter finish. Highly recommend it, if you come across it.

Went into Manchester City Centre to grab Jester King Commercial Suicide so I at least have one mold in May
Went back via Wellington Road and Heaton Hops
Had Mallinson Galaxy, Cheshire Brewhouse Blues Breaker, Mad Hatter Penny Lane Pale
Hobo Chic Dry Bitter from Denmark
& a half decent carry out
Popped into Timperley to sort summat out
Noticed in window of Bargain Booze new beer section
Got 3 Belgian beers and a left hand porter for just over eight quid
    World's gone craft beer mad

Had the new Cloud Water Domino Topple IPA today and it's a crackin beer. I'm currently having a Watermelon Dorado by Ballast Point and I'm not a fan. I was expecting more, but the watermelon flavour doesn't blend with the hops they've chosen.

Picked up a couple bottles of the Pressure Drop Domino Topple, a single hop mosaic IPA. Really tasty IPA, like what they've been doing recently

I am so sick of hops at the moment.

From 'craft' gin to Old Chimney's King Alfred's Cake, a Baltic porter. Loads of dried fruit and bubblegum but way smoother than anything that's ever come out of Belgium. The guy at that brewery is a real master.

Buxton Axe Edge - brilliant as usual, great balance between juicy fruit and bitter pine hops.

Couple of Knops beers, cal common - ok, bit dull and IPA, decent again but would like it a bit stronger and hoppier

Kicking off the very English mild in May
With the not so English Jester King Commercial Suicide
But hey it's bottle conditioned so it's real ale

Commercial Suicide was an interesting fusion of mild and table farmhouse
Fullers Montana Red was painfully dull
    On to Brodies Jamaican Stout

    Brodies Jamaican is good stuff
Liquorice and coffee and all good dark things
Better and fuller than many bigger stouts
    Now Poperings hommelbier
Not a big fan of Belgian IPAs
This doesn't challenge that but is still fairly good

Had a pint of TT Landlord on cask for the first time. Cracking stuff, will certainly be revisiting tomorrow. Quite needed after working in a tourist attraction through the bank holiday.

More Landlord and a can of Modern Times City of the Sun (very underwhelming, must be one of these beers which fades after a week or so, can't believe I wasted a fiver on it).

Weird Beard Suspect Device - really interesting, a refreshingly different take on the double IPA, lots of sweet spice and some gin-like herbs mixed in with really thick, oily resinous hoppiness.
