I was at the brewery last Friday and heard a little bit about this, but I've slept since then and have forgotten almost all of what I was told about it.

All I've heard is that that it should go 1:1 with JK fruits, SP SARA, Casey Fruits, BC variants, etc., but only if you get permission. Definitely not La Cumbre though.

Love the 'permission' requests to trade your own beer part. Some real 'fun' beer people in OK it appears.

Well The Willows didn't involve the Healeys outside of being brewed at their facility, and Priaire is no longer involved in those beers at all. This series should remind you more of Coolship Truck.

It's actually the formally known Brouwerij Okie, if any of you remember that. I'm guessing he changed the name because nobody could pronounce it. Haha. These new American Solera are his "side project" and will all be spontaneous ales. Super limited, Oklahoma only and from what I am hearing they are killer so far. Be on the lookout! Cheers

Anyone know if it will be available for sale at Prairie? I'll be up there next week.

Oklahoma is stupid. You can't purchase anything over 4% at the brewery, so it will not be available there.

It might be released next week though and you could possibly find it at some stores. It will be very limited though.

No you won't find it unless you're in Oklahoma the week of and have solid connections. It won't even see shelves probably and is such a low bottle count.

I saw a picture of some Oklahoma Favebook group and someone went on an idiotic tirade about how Oklahoma beer traders are stupid and undervalue their beer. In fact he said before anyone traded any of this beer they would need to seek his permission with what they were getting in return and he would 'approve' it or not first.

"Its come to my attention that SB424 might not be voted on by the House. If this is the case, I will no longer plan to sell my American Solera bottles in the State of Oklahoma."

    So that's happening.

Wow. That's a new low in beer nerdery.
The really insane part is that some people probably actually take him seriously.

Yeah it's stalled for the moment. Speaker of the OK House hasn't put it on the agenda to be heard. Very disappointing.
