AZ - Taste of Tops is a good choice, but I would have preferred Angel's Trumpet or The Attic. Maybe Flanny's.
(haven't been in Tucson recently to compare their options though)

I completely agree. As much as I like Pine Box, it generally pales in comparison to Brouwer's. The quality of beers on tap are relatively similar between the two, however Brouwer's shines much brighter when you consider the bottle list. I would also give a nod to Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle.

I can't disagree with you here, especially given the kids that are occasionally running about at Chuck's. It's a great neighborhood beer store, but I never get the beer bar "vibe" when I'm there, same can be said for Beer Junction minus the kids.

The best thing about this is that we have so many world class options in Seattle that regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the choice, you'll always have an excellent place to grab a beer.

I think i would go with The Publick House in Brookline for MA. Though Armsby is a close second.

Can't really argue with the selection of Burnheart's for Wisconsin. They have the ear of Central Waters and the seasonal events that feature rare CW beers is what puts them a bit ahead of other stellar stops like Roman's, Palm, Sugar Maple, etc.

For non-Milwaukeeans I suggest Malt House and Dexter's in Madison and the Firehouse in Eau Claire.

MA: Publick House (Armsby Abbey gets credit for their Hill Farmstead offerings)
    RI: Julians
    ME: Great Lost Bear
VT: Blackback (if only because there's few places to stay in Montpelier and walk to Three Penny Taproom)
    NY: Blind Tiger
    PA: Monk's
    DE: Two Stones
    MD: Alewife
    VA: Mekong
NC: Thirsty Monk (although I prefer spending hours at Wicked Weed)
    AL: Below the Radar
    CA: Churchill's

Bad pick for NH (Thirst Moose). My pick would probably be the new J Bartlett Ale House in the Nashua Wholefoods. Second would be Biederman's Deli. Third Cask 'n Vine in Derry.

Their are many others... their regular draft list is mediocre and overpriced....unless its migration week or something but still overpriced..I only go there if there is something very special on draft..

Bevridge Place Pub, Brauers, and the Parkway must have been pretty darn close to the top in the Washington list.

Have to disagree with SC and NC. Craft Conundrum is stupidly over-priced. And Thirsty Monk is just an average craft beer bar.

I've yet to find another bar in the state with such an incredible draft and bottle selection. Their tap list for Barrel Aged Week says it all:

having been to both, and also most of the other ones that could be in contention, 7 Monks is easily my pick for number one. They have the most diverse selection I have seen especially when you consider the bottles, they have the most beer intelligent staff I've ever encountered in any setting. The food is amazing. They embrace the local beer scene all the way to rare international beers. They even proper glassware everything. Add the fact that you can get delicious cocktails and uber rare bourbon in their basement and they are tough to beat. Always cool events happening too for various charities, sports, beer, or even mothers day.

also, ill add that Ashleys loses due to their rare beer price gouging alone.

In Maine I think it's a tie between Ebenezer's and Novare Res.

I agree with others that Armsby Abbey (my first choice) and Publick House are better choices than Lord Hobo for MA. For VT, I'd probably go for Blackback. Churchkey is right on for DC, though.

Hey...I like Cloverleaf too. I just generally find more beers I am looking for and have a better time at the Shep. I also admit to living closest to that one so I might be a bit biased.

Bar hopping in North Jersey (or anywhere) distance is certainly an important issue. My favorite beer bar in NJ is the Bond Street Bar in Asbury Park. Great little place. Things are much friendlier down that way then at The Shepard and The Knucklehead.

I haven't been to Falling Rock -- I'll have to go the next time I'm in Denver -- but I'd like to give a shout out to the Mayor of Old Town in Fort Collins. 100+ taps, mostly smaller Colorado breweries, and knowledgeable staff. I used to work at a place just down the street and we would go there once or twice a week after closing.
