Rare, more specifically, is the 2013 base beer aged 2 years in 30-35 year old Heaven Hill barrels.

So then wouldn't that make it the 2014 base beer since it was released in 2015? Its the same beer that was released as regular 2014 BCBS, aged in different barrels and for a year longer. The 2013 BCBS was brewed one year before Rare was.

    Correct, just semantics.

The base stout was brewed and put into barrels in 2013, but released as 2014 Bourbon County and 2015 Bourbon County Rare.

    Aged in different barrels entirely.

Is the Coffee Dino Smores any good? I was pretty underwhelmed with the regular.

Conn Ave had some tonight too.

It's decent but I don't think the barrel treatment makes a huge difference with hardywood stouts. It's a great base beer though so you can't really go wrong.
