Anyone try this yet? Any chance this leaks out into distro?

Some comments in the Carton thread. I quite like it. And it hit some NJ distro, for what that's worth.

    (reposted from WBAYDN)
Single hop IPA from Barrier, this time featuring Bravo hops.
I'm not that familiar with Bravo - this beer is nice and pungent in a dank weed way (not like your old flooded basement dank obviously)
Not too dry either, right up my alley. Most of the Barrier Suburbs series are really really good.

an addendum - my favorite Barrier IPA is Dunegrass and I like anything with Columbus hops - this reminded me of Suburbs with Columbus.

I had this last week. Right after I played soccer for 2 hours, I was a big fan. Refreshing, tasty. Their last couple of bottles have been much better.

I'm a growler fan myself - picked up 2 more 64oz. Fantastical XPA along with this bottle a few days ago (the 2 growlers for $21 total!). I really dig that one. Its not over the top in any way so I'm sure no one on this site cares but its something I could drink any day.

I got the Fantastical a few weeks ago from Milk & Hops and I enjoyed it. I like pretty much every Barrier I drink and I hope this recent trend of their bottles being better carboninated and just better overall continues.

A friend gave me a can of SS Cream from his trip to Carton. I really liked it and thought it was fantastic. Wish he gave me more than 1!

On Saturday morning Barrier had 3 cases left but they said there's more on the way to the brewery middle of this week.

It's solid, nothing mind blowing. Little sweet for my preferences but a good beer.

I saw this one in a store today... along with Satan for a Weekend and Imposter. I was tempted by each one but decided to pass for now. In the past, I tried everything they put out on draught. Recently, I've tried everything that I've encountered via these new bottles. I've had Imposter a few times and the previous Suburb release. I've enjoyed every beer from their new bottling situation, but I think I've finally hit my limit with wanting to spend $8 on one bottle of an IPA despite being a fan. Ditto with $5 for a pilsner. I'll probably give pause each time, and will be more likely to spend the money on anything other than "another" IPA from them. Have you tried Satan? It's not always easy letting go.

Yeah I buy their beer by growlers 99% of the time, the guy at the beer distributer suggested it and I thought I'd try a bottle. Especially since I never had a single hop Bravo IPA, but I really enjoyed it. I don't go crazy over IPAs like most others here so its not a big deal to me whether I try every IPA ever made. I'd rather get 64oz of Icculus or Barnacle for $12-14 than pay IPA prices. I'd rather have Imposter by growler too. I don't usually care for IPAs over 8% (Dunegrass is at 8% and its perfect) so I passed on Daddy Warbucks there, but I'd try Satan if I saw it.

I guess that's getting into the barleywine region. What did you think?

    Two cents..

Really enjoying SS CREAM. It's definitely more on the DIPA side than Cream Ale side, but that's not a problem for me. It has plenty of malt to balance the hops, making it extremely balanced but plenty flavorful. Glad I bought 3 4-packs but wish I bought more.

As for Satan - I thought this was a great DIPA/TIPA. No booze whatsoever. I do feel like it is close to a barleywine, but not enough malt sweetness to reach barleywine status. It goes down surprisingly easy. Be careful with that one.

Glad to see 555 back last week. I'm not a fan of fruited IPAs but that one is great.

Anyone know how long Money has been on at the brewery and whether it will still be flowing today? Contemplating a trip there for growler fill but don't want to get all the way over just to find out there is no more.
