Eh, I dunno. NG has been pretty aggressively protective of their trademarks in the past.

I know, but if it is just a name in the tap room, it's contained there and not in the market. NDB should certainly change the name if they bottle it.

Shouldn't be interesting. NG filed their trademark like 9 months ago.

When was the first time NDB used the name?

Both will be on the shelf at similar times so there will most likely be legal action by New Glarus.

I was implying that NG will win quickly and uninterestingly.

But I don't know when NDB started using the name.

They've taken issue with one off, draft only beers with cow in the name before, so

This is what I know. Next door has the rights in state and new glarus has the national rights. I heard that both will play nice and will co exist on the shelf with no problems...

I just got some last week - no problems finding it.

I'll second that! Just so so good. Not a huge cranberry fan, but that was amazing.

I didn't want to start the 2016 R&D thread, because I have no information--but I will point out that the first 2015 R&D was released on May 7

Whoops I had seen that and forgot about it. Thanks

Edit: good thing I didn't start the 2016 thread

No problem. Summer and delicious NG R&D releases will be here before we know it. You know they'll be well worth the wait.

I started a r&d 2016 thread and it hot nuked... mod said it was a dupe with this one.

April 13th Scream in Milwaukee. Not sure I've ever seen it that fresh, aside from the very first shipment.

I usually pick up Scream from the brewery and I've noticed it running out and being replenished two or so weeks later with a fresher batch. The last two i picked up were both different and newer dates. Fwiw.

This is good. Also, could Dan create a Brett Saison for me?

I find this hilarious given that, at the beginning of 2015, one of the mods decided that the long-running New Glarus thread was too long, and decided that the best course of action was to have separate threads for R&D and Seasonal/Thumbprint releases.

This year's Cran-bic is better than I remember past iterations being, all the way back to the original Unplugged Cran-bic. Very refreshing and delicious.

Yeah I thought it was pretty funny too. On a related note; I miss the old ng thread.
