How bad do the lines generally tend to be for OH releases?

Depends, if you mean this one, it likely won't be terrible at all and you'll likely be able to get beer into the early afternoon.

If I end up going though, I'll probably get there at 8/830 just to guarantee I get some beer I want and, because with the faster processing, I'll be out by 1030ish.

If the table beer was brewed down at westbrook, there may be a shitload of it and given it's popularity in this thread, that particular beer might last through the weekend.

Perfect--thanks. I more meant the question of how quickly the lines would move, rather than whether beer would still be available. Thanks for the help!

That's gonna be my plan as well. That way I'm outta there with my beer with the whole rest of my day ahead of me.

They have a limit on the carton? Hoping some will still be around tomorrow.

Oh yeah, they added a third cashier for cash only sales recently (and more room to pack IKEA bags) and it goes really quickly. I've been pretty deep in line and in/out in half an hour after opening since that change.

No limit on the carton, but they had a bunch. 2 cans pp on the Lawson's.

Can't tell if this is serious - will people really get there that early given how quickly the line moves and the fact that this is, perhaps, the least-exciting release of the last 6 months?

I think ill be stopping in around 11/12. No way I want to stand in the rain for hours.

The earlier the line starts, the higher the perceived trade value

I'm just going that early so I can be back in the city ASAP due to prior plans. Living in Manhattan is convenient for work but it makes my beer hobby quite annoying at times.

Or you can show up at 1030, not wait in line in the rain for 2 hours before they open, and still be out by 11.

Yea, this is what I was thinking. From what I've read about the most recent two releases, they've gotten through the line by 10:30, so you could even arrive at 10 and be out of there by 10:30, and wait a total of 30 minutes. Unless you really need to be out of there by 10 on the dot I don't really understand showing up early. But, there definitely are people who might need to leave right at 10 so for them it makes sense.

Alright, I'm gonna see what life is like if I show up at 10am.

You won't regret it. This will be the easiest breeziest release in the last I'm not sure how long.

Speaking of that Barrier/Carton collab, just cracked my first can. Extremely delicious.
