Over the weekend i was able to do a side by side of new Cran-bic and a bottle of orginal batch. The latest batch seems more tart from the get go. Shold be interesting how the new stuff ages

If my memory serves, I found the prior thumbprint release to be a bit drier than this version. This once seems a touch sweeter. Cran-bic is outstanding regardless. It needs to be a yearly release imo.

What's the general availability of the Zwickel now? I went out and got some in March but I was wondering if they still have it or if it was a limited thing?

Still a decent amount available as of yesterday. They were selling wild bitter as well.

On the hard hat tour a couple weeks back, Dan said it was better now than when they released it.

Interesting. May have to try and get my hands on some. I thought it was ... not great when it first launched, but some bottle conditioning with that brett may have done great things.

Haha probably. I'd gladly pay that for the vintage release. Not so much for wild bitter

I'm just the opposite. I liked Wild Bitter the best, out of last years R&D's. I don't know if it is worth $20 a bottle though. $10... absolutely.

To each their own. Definitely pricey. Was surprised to see the increase
