@77apm Thanks! Next time the extras are on me, I have some pretty unique stuff reserved. He is very kind so if you ever trade with him make sure to bring some killer extras!
And the dry saison was indeed a killer, why? because I loved it and I'm not a big fan of dry hops.

If some of you were to guess, or possibly even have an idea, would the July anniversary party be an event with a very nice bottle sale or is the possible/likely party actual party going to be the main event (i.e pours, hanging with people, etc.)?!

Very interested in taking a trip out and July may very well work out.

    My guess would be: yes.

Plenty. Give a call to Small Batch, Mile High, Grapevine, and Mr. B's. They all got bottles and most still probably have some.

Thanks for the tip I grabbed a couple bottles at grapevine. Several cases left by the looks of it.

This latest batch of Montmorency Cherry FS was the largest to date from my understanding so I would guess it'll be around for a while, especially since it is concentrated to only a few shops instead of spread out over many.

Hopefully this is a trend. Being able to get a couple of each months releases is awesome, and would save me the $200 monthly trip!

How long does Casey usually last in shops? I'm heading out to Denver June 1-5 from NC and would love to score a bottle...or 10 to bring back

Typically about <1-2 days as it only hits 3-4 stores or so every 2-3 months.

Just happens this current batch(es) are 3x the size (and $2-$3 higher) than before... so it has been lingering longer.

Saison is running $18-$19. Presumably because of the dry hopping? Or to make it last longer. Not sure if it's a retail price increase or a brewery increase.

If you're getting here today you shouldn't have any trouble getting some

There was a lot of saison, dry-hopped saison, and cherry fruitstand at Mile High late last week. I imagine it will be there for a while.

There was quite a bit of regular saison and some CFS at Grapevine on Friday.

If I didn't already have some, I'd buy up as much dry hopped saison as possible. That stuff is so good.

I just got a chance to try Casey Family Preserves Cab Franc thanks to @vitaminvert . Easily the best Casey beer I've ever had. So good.

I have a serious (maybe irrational) love for the first batch of East Bank, so I don't know which is my favorite Casey, but I'm right there with you on CFP Cab Franc. It really showcases the fruit without devolving into grape juice territory.

I'm finding that the specialty items released last summer (early Family Preserves & the 2nd batches of the Cut) are amazing right now. Beers I thought were good but maybe not great are blowing my socks off now.
Earlier Saisons and East Banks seem to have mellowed their funk and are now more tart. The house sulphur notes are mostly gone, too. That's more to my liking.
I think the Casey beers change a bit more than the stuff I've had from CS, Cascade, Upland, etc.
Those seem to get more acidic and the adjuncts muddle a bit. With the Casey's so far I think the fruit notes are holding up much better. Not sure if it's the base beer, his technique, the fruits, or what.
