It's really good. I still like Citra a bit more but I had Waimea on tap last night at a bar by me and it's excellent.

I liked Waimea a little more yesterday than I did the first time I had it.
I still love Citra above all.

Did the flight with all of the Hop Labs. They're all so good that the worst in the bunch is a 7 out of a 10 and it's still great.

Take it for what it's worth, but when I was there last Sunday (day after cans sold out), the girl by the front door passing out the pamphlets told me the next canning run would be around late May/early June and then after that they would have them regularly.

I was cleaning up my kitchen just now and organizing some beer bottles. I threw away 5 hop lab Citra tags. :grimacing: My brother and sister in law had some today and both enjoyed it. She's a red wine person and him a Budweiser guy. It's nice turning non beer people onto some craft stuff.

I had a friend who was in Boston this weekend for a bachelor party. He's a Pabst and Miller guy and he stopped at nightshift for me and got a case of santilli. He called me from there asking what I wanted and said whirlpool and santilli were so good. Converting them one at a time.

Sunday Brunch on tap may 12 at asbury festhalle&biergarten at "founders and friends" event. Haven't seen anything regarding this being last years SB, or possible release soon? Anybody hear anything?

Nothing, but was surprised to see that too. Sunday Brunch and Citra make it very tempting.
Oh yeah, Founder's stuff too I guess.

Does anyone know if the brewery has any A Night to End All Dawns left for purchase? If so, how much is it? I am headed to NJ in 2 weeks.

Sorry, bud. Those bottles were sold through an online ticket sale that sold out within a few minutes, if not seconds. The remaining bottles were sold through an email lottery.

Visit the brewery regardless. I think you'll enjoy your experience. Have a nice trip.

Yes, it is $25 per bottle, but only if you say "olly-olly-oxen-free" as you are greeted at the door. After confidently pronouncing this secret password, you will be discreetly escorted to the top-secret door next to the fermenters. The staff member will take you through this door which leads to a mine shaft to the underground barrel-aging area. Once in the barrel-aging area, the staff member will leave you on your own, and you will have to find the barrel guard without any assistance. Once you find him (you will know once you see him), you will need to ask for his permission to purchase A Night to End All Dawns. There is a 50/50 chance on whether or not the barrel guard will grant you permission. If he does not, try again next weekend. If you are fortunate enough to be granted permission by the guard, you will have no more than five minutes to discover the barrel that is next in line to be emptied, and you will have to manually pour the contents into the bottle. If you pour exactly 750 mL into the bottle, you are pronounced worthy of purchasing the beer, and may conduct the transaction and depart upon much congratulations. If you pour below or above 750 mL, the guard will smash the gong and send you back through the barrel-aging area to the mine shaft and back to the front door where you will have to repeat the process the following week.

Otherwise, if you are like the rest of us mortals, the beer sold out basically immediately and you must hope to win the ANTEAD lottery next year. Seriously though, it's worth the visit and I hope you have a good time. You may also want to visit Carton while you're here too since it is not far from Kane, and if you're interested in a bar to hang out at and try some stuff you probably don't get in California, Maloney's is not a far drive from Kane or Carton.

@devilsfan26 , this was classic. Started my day off with a few laughs which is always a plus. Also, you posted this at 3:03 am. Exactly how drunk were you?

they had leftover ANTEADS when they released double barrel but I'd have to imagine all the Regular and or variants are now gone, think they busted out those so those who missed out on double barrel had a consolation prize type thing.. though a lot of people in the line that day passed on double barrel and got nilla/coconut/regular since a lot of people missed out on the online sale/lottery thing

No, seriously what does the barrel guard look like?

 Thanks for busting my chops. People out here don't take pride in it like they do out there.

That gong really through me off the first time too. And the hatchet-wielding lunatic that works there on Saturdays.

Went to Kane for the first time a couple weeks ago and loved it. Everything (most everything) was solid. Great atmosphere, great service. I brought my wife the following week for date night. We live 10 minutes away, so we'll be here often. What's the best way to keep up with releases?
