With all the Event talk, how does that age? My TW still has a lot and I might buy one or two and throw in the pantry.

It ages great. For the past 3-4 years, I buy two, drink on fresh and the other at 2-3 years and usually prefer the aged version.

Event ages very well. Lindley... well, depends on the year.

I would think that as 'hot' Dark Age is, it should age fairly well, as long as no bugs got into it. Looking at Goose Island here.

I've had verts of EH and verts of Lindley. Event ages gracefully. Lindley has a sweet spot usually around 6-15 months. Thanks to @Duckworths for hosting those events that allowed me to try them all.

Had one on draft last night. Was pretty impressed. Just as good or better than the past years' drafts.

Being in Hickory a number of us have verticals of Event Horizon/Lindley Park/Irish Walker. Lindley Park has never really been a favorite (I'm just not a raspberries-in-stouts kind of guy I think), but EH ages quite well. My only problem is making sure it makes it that far...

I'm good with EH, it's a great beer, Lindley and the raspberries not so much, it's a good beer, but it doesn't tickle me.

I drank a 2010 evho this fall. The bourbon and chocolate flavors were in the background behind the malt

Looks like it hit Atlanta, one per person.. hah.. crazy stuff.

I bought out of state and picked up half a case. It's a nice beer. Little thinner, but I think that helps with the drinkability of not being so thick and filling.

I really like the barrel notes though, love the tannic oak and coconut/creme brulee flavors from the sweet bourbon in there. I like it more than BCBS personally, since this has a bit more balance to it.

Price isn't great, but perhaps it keeps WW around and easier to get since they price themselves so high.

All in all, I'd love to see some variants of this.. Coconut, Coffee, Maple, hell, even different barrels too would be fun.

Anyone see this travel as far south as S. Florida? Would love to try this.

Won't be much farther south than Atlanta.

Any chance this is still available anywhere in Asheville? I will be in town this weekend.

I believe Brusin Ales still has some, and would think that Tasty Bev would as well, along with the Brewpub.

Wicked Weed doesn't distribute anywhere in Florida. Actually, they don't even go past Atlanta right now.

That is true, but I don't believe the IPAs are making it. I spoke with the rep recently. They had decided to send sours to a few choice markets like Chicago and Portland, but they're trying to keep the IPAs freshest by shipping close to home.

Wicked got some labels approved to distribute here in Texas, but their beer is not sold in Texas just yet. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) is pretty strict on licenses and whatnot.

The only WW beers that will be available in TX will be for purchase at Jester King only (at least according to the article I read).
