Don't know how hard it would be to find a vinyl copy, but Pearl Jam had a 2 song single cd 'Merkinball' that was released in the mid '90s. Songs were 'I got ID' and 'Long road'. Think it was packaged with Neil Youngs Mirrorball CD.
Another vote for August! Think late July/August would work great for round 4 and then we could do round 5 for X-mas again (with swag).
Legacy collection or are you still adding to it? Mine was mostly an inheritance from my in-laws with some occasional garage sale gems. Recently we're mostly spinning 70s era Disney vinyl books for the kids.
Growing up, I just always listened to vinyl. My sister graduated in 1987 and was big into music and my dad still had tons of stuff from the 60's and 70's. I've bought records for years myself too. A guy I knew had a brother with about 20K+ vinyl who passed away - I bought about 6000-7000 of those so yep, I have a ton. And I'm with you on the Disney records. We've been doing that along with some Scooby Doo and the Monster Mash lately!
All sorts of stuff. I enjoy all sorts of music so for me it was a great buy. I've got nice selections of 40's swing, 50's rock, 60's and 70's all over the place, 60s and 70s country, disco, punk, hair metal, world music, jazz. I'm not real nerdy about condition and what release an album is. I listen to stuff all the time so I just enjoy that, not so much looking at them like some people I know. I also have a couple old Victrola players I enjoy - have tons of stuff for them from the 20's and 30's. Cool stuff.
As school will be out in early June, I'd also be willing to run the next round if necessary. Anyhow, I'll be good with a late June/July window. August is fine too, but you'll be able to get fresher Midwest stuff from me earlier in the summer. I told the guys in the Slack thread about my trip, but just to let y'all know, I plan on traveling to Valparaiso, IN mid-June to visit my Aunt and Uncle and, of course, hit breweries on the way including FFF and a day in Chicago. Let me know if you want to meet up! I'll post brewery/stop details very soon. Cheers!
