We're brewing up 11 gallons of Irish Blonde. Going to play with pitching rates to see just how different they will turn out.

Just got my DIY kedge rate all set and going, just need a tap tower next and a faucet. Hoping to find both of what I need today. Otherwise I have my pumpkin ale on tap!

Kegging 3 single-hop pale ales...hopefully finding time to brew up a Blonde "guest" beer and grow up some yeast for some batches next week.

Brewing a quad that will eventually go into a barrel that previously held Balcones Rumble (distilled from figs, honey, and demerara sugar). It will kick-off a month of brewing beers for my two 5-gallon barrels because I’m expecting each batch to only need 3-4 weeks, and I want to ready to refill immediately.

I am brewing up a saison with chardonnay soaked oak and pear. First time messing around with soaked oak. Still waffling on when to add it and whether or not to add the wine as well.

Probably going for it myself. I'm thinking of making a Hopslam clone since I can't get that one out here.

Collab brew with MADhombrewer tomorrow. Old Ale was the style we picked and after swatting around a few ideas I think we have something resembling a more traditional take on the style. Going for malty, rustic, and dry with minimal fruitiness and sweetness. At around 8-9% aBV (projected), it's definitely not going to be mistaken for the massively sweet alcohol bombs more typical in America.

Hoping to do a SMaSH all grain tomorrow, my first all grain batch. May have to wait though as I may have to work (doh!)

Oh, I wish. Instead, I'll be working on the never-ending kitchen remodel this weekend. Really, OSB isn't such a bad flooring material, is it? It does hide dirt exceptionally well. As far as beer goes, I'll be watching last weekend's beer condition and be tweaking my recipes for my next 3 brews -- pale ale, IPA, and American brown. I might also need to start picking and drying hops.

    Same here!
You ever tried making a "spice tea" and adding it to the secondary?

Gonna have the wife help me drag some shit out and brew this weekend.

I'm at a loss on what I want for a beer on tap, so I decided to hell with "seasonal" and I milled up some marris otter, vienna, munich, and some 20 and 60 crystal for a nice hoppy pale..

Picked up some Falconers Flight 7 C's, Citra and Simcoe to toss in the damn thing. Thinkin' about 1oz a gallon. So maybe not really a Pale.

That is the method I was leaning towards - a tea or tincture. Funny you mention that now because my girlfriend took a look at my computer and just saw the 10 internet tabs open about making a spice tea and was wondering what the hell I was interested in a spice tea for.

Anyway, what is your abv and what spices in what amounts were you thinking?

I actually got a hold of some "Pumpkin Spice" mixture from a specialty spice store only to find out that it's the spice they sell to a few breweries in here in Pittsburgh. I was gonna go with a cup of boiling water and 1tsp of spice (5 gallon batch) and possibly doing .5tsp during flameout.
