Ok so I took my kegorator apart to clean everything now when I put it back together I get leaks. I have never had an issue in the past so I am not sure what is up. In the first picture you can see where I get the leak. The second picture is the connector into the keg (am I missing a o-ring?). Thanks a ton in advance. Bobby Smith
Might just need a new o-ring. If it's pretty old it could just be a little corroded causing it to leak. If that's not it then I'm not sure, everything looks like it is there.
I had same issue and my coupler was New with New oring. I replaced the oring and no issues since. Not sure if the ring wasn't seating correctly or just had oring?
That's what Ill do then new oring. I wonder if it shrunk when I let the coupler sit in the cleaning solution. I should have taken if off.
While you are not missing an O-ring, there is a possibility that it is not seated properly on the coupler. Step 1. Disassemble the bottom again and attempt to reseat the gaskets Step 2. Reconnect coupler and inspect If no leak - You're good to go Still leaking? Carefully uncouple and turn the tapping device 180° and recouple. It's an old trick and it works about 40% of the time. If you are still experiencing a leak, uncouple and dry the top of the keg (referred to as the barnsneck). Post a picture of the O-ring on the keg. sometimes they get nicked in the cleaning process or just through general use. Note the yellow arrow I've added to your picture. Is that just a bubble or a small cut on the larger O-ring?
That was just a bubble. I tried flipping it around no luck. Can I just buy the oring from Lowes? Here is the other picture I believe you were looking for.
Have you tried a new o-ring on your coupler? If that doesn't work there is a possibility that the keg has a bad valve
Thanks for all the help. I found a local place that sold me all the o-rings for $5. That completely took care of the problem
