Get a grip, guys, and show a bit of that midwestern humor. My older daughter was born at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City 30+ years ago. In the gift shop, they sold a T-shirt that said, "University of Iowa, Idaho City, Ohio".

 

For what it's worth I wasn't the least bit insulted. Hope I was helpful though.

 

No worries, I myself ignore most people from the coasts. I mean one side can't figure out voting the other votes in a guy that can't say the name of the state; plus California can't figure out how to use water properly and they are by the ocean.

Yeah, MN voted in Ventura, but he was a navy seal as well as in Predator with Arnold.

Can't freaking wait! Hopefully Mabes will still deliver there, even though it's on the outskirts of town.

Really happy for them. Looking forward to seeing increased supply of Iowa brewed goodness.

 

Hopefully there's some way for folks to easily get to and from downtown or the hotel areas without driving. I think one cool feature of the current tap room is that it's very foot-traffic friendly. If you're staying in Decorah for the weekend and have any ambition, you can walk around and hit TG as part of it. An extension of the Trout Run Trail up there would be really cool.

I'm sure it's not going to hinder them, and I'm excited for this facility, but just a thought.

 

It's still city limits, so I'm thinking you'll be safe on that front.

I'm assuming the renderings are just generic...at least I hope. That taproom looks pretty meh. I'm sure some awesome beers are going to flow out of there, but aesthetically...it looks kind of like a Village Inn.

What do you think they put out during American craft Beer Week 5/16-22? Think the King returns?

 

I think there was a tweet about galaxy and mosaic hopped versions of PsuedoSue happening in May...

 

Ahh that would make sense that those labels fit craft beer week. Good call. Just trying to weigh going this week for Sosus and Scorpius vs holding out for next week

 

So if it's not a single Citra hop...is it really fair to call it Pseudo Sue?? Or is it Citra and the Mosaic/Galaxy combos?

 

Pretty sure they're dry hopped, yes? Calling it mosaic dry hopped PseudoSue doesn't seem abnormal at all to me.
