Yes it is, but RH is it's own separate facility, and it's not as if you'd want to get onto Benjamin to get to it.

If you're in the wine country, following a wine map, there would be no reason to head down Benjamin road. So it's unlikely that someone visiting various wineries in the area would inadvertently run into the tasting room. Also, as there's no sign for the tasting room on 99 (I'm assuming this is still the case), I think it's unlikely that very many tourists or visitors are going to happen by the tasting room by accident.

    :-)

Not all of these are always open, and many aren't right on 99W, but...

    Patricia Green
    Chehelam
    Scott Paul
    Belle Pente
Dusky Goose (who finally have a tasting room!)
Domain Drouhin (a little spendy, but the wines are good and the view spectacular)
    Cristom
    Ken Wright
    Owen Roe
    Elk Cove
    Maysara
    Stag's Hollow
    Bethel Heights
    Cana's Feast
Eyrie (if you visit, spring for the cost of the library wine tastes)
    Gran Moraine
    J. Christopher (love their sauvignon blanc)
    Sinnean
    St. Innocent

Your mileage may vary of course...

Lots of rules and stuff. I can't decide if I want to read this in a fast lawyer voice, or a calm pharmaceutical ad voice. And no dogs? Are wolves allowed?

    Eyrie is my fave

Also a big fan of Patricia Green and DDO, since we agree on those I'll have to check out some others. Thanks!

Under 21 means under 21. Not sure about OR, but the WA LMCB is pretty strict on this. Plus, as a customer, I don't want a 10 month old squeeling around at an event like this. Can't imagine it would much fun for the baby either; crowded, loud, lots of bright sounds and colors.

Oregon is similarly strict, and understandably so when it comes to under 21.

However can't agree with your assessment of what a baby may find to be fun. My 10 month old loved loud, "bright sounds and colors". What the hell else should a 10 month old be doing?

Yeah, I kinda phrased that badly. Admittedly, I have zero clues about what babies find interesting. But it just seemed to me that a room full of boisterous folks, of varying levels sobriety and volume, might be a bit overwhelming for someone whose biggest hobby is pooping. Often. And in public. Wait, I dated her once.

No just saying in general. Live in Illinois but if I were to ever fly out to pick up my society bottles or something, didn't know if it could be a family affair. So are all breweries/brew pubs like this in Portland?

No, most breweries allow kids. Boneyard, de Garde, The Commons and now W&P are the Oregon ones that off the top of my head don't let kids in.

I believe the law states you have to have some sort of food on sight for kids to be allowed. None of those breweries do.

Most/All breweries are no kids. Unless they are a brewpub, or get a special type of exception like upright, because of the cafe in the building. Don't get me started on it...
    This includes the commons

You can have a legitimate food menu and still choose not to allow minors. And in the case of The Commons, it would feel extremely weird/wrong if minors were in their space.
