Happy to report...Just cracked a bottle of 2015 BCBS last week. It was fantastic; no signs of infection at all.

Had multiple from late October that were sour. Had a 11/04 or something on Sunday that was like 98% ok, getting a little thin but still good. DRINK

Just popped one from 9/30 that I bought in IN, which is different from the November bunch that I bought in KY. 13.7%, kept in a 65-70 degree closet since November, absolutely sublime.

There is absolutely no chance of that happening. Goose, and the other AB owned breweries, operate pretty independently. AB allows the Brewers to brew.

Anybody else suddenly noticing some BCBS on shelves recently? I've not seen it anywhere since December and suddenly in the past 3 weeks I've found 2 shops with it on or behind the counter. Found it mildly amusing and coincidental. Picked up 2 from one spot last night and cracked one when I got home, OCT26 dates. Carb was very fizzy and disipated quickly, even on an aggressive pour, but it was damn tasty with zero cherry tart or off flavors, no metallic scent or flavor at all.

Yes. Saw four cases on the floor at Garfield's in Norridge. In plain sight and selling for $10.99 each. Believe date was 10/22.

My guess would be some places like to stash some to sell at higher prices or special event bottles a year or two down the road but with all this infection talk now just trying to unload it.

    Friends,

My customer service interactions with goose island have been deplorable and most recently I was just berated by a representative on their Facebook page for expressing my concerns regarding the deletion of my professional posts. All I have been asking for is to have my concerns heard by someone. It's there right now. If you are having the same issues, I encourage you to voice your concerns to them.

It's the only way resolution will occur.

    Cheers!

I'd say my experiences with them have been less than stellar. They've ignored my emails and the customer service rep got very rude and hung up on me when I asked them if I could send them some of my unopened bottles from the case that I bought that had my infected 21OCT15 bottles. I offered to do it at my own cost if they would just test it on their lab.

After that I started commenting on their social media posts on the hopes of getting their attention and a response to my emails. Instead they just started deleting my comments

Just bought a bottle from a party store that they just sent out to him to make up for a credit? Weird. Either way, I popped it and I must say its still very good, but I do detect the faintest of tartness, not bad at all but it's there. Guess I'm not gonna go buy more

Popped an 11 Nov 1236 14.3 Abv. Absolutely nothing wrong with this beer, nothing at all. A perfectly proper Bcbs.

Had a 21 Oct 1800 over the weekend. No off flavors detectable. Stored in a closet in the spare bedroom with the vent closed. Stayed around 60 until the last few weeks.

I opened infected (Black Friday Binny's Glen Ellyn) Coffee and Barleywine bottles. Sitting on 6 regular. But I did open my Regal Rye a couple of months ago and it was great. I'm getting nervous about my Prop 15 and don't know when to open that one now

Just popped a 23 October 2015, 1830,14.3%, definitely off. A nasty tinge. You just know instantly. Had one a couple months ago, no clue on date, but it was good. This one smelt and had a major off taste. Drain pour.

I assume this is gone now? Every time I check their wall (and I just checked), the posts are all at least a couple weeks old and not about this issue. There is actually one post about this from April 12 that was left up for some reason, and a GI rep commented and said to email them and they would "get it sorted out." Which I find funny since all of us that have actually emailed have been basically brushed off.

Can someone please recap 21 pages of comments? Is it only on a few batches of regular BCS? Are all coffee/prop/regal infected? I just heard about these issues today, did Goose stop giving refunds? Any concerns with Rare?
