Woah. New glass color? That wasn't available last week!

 

I think that's an old glass color. Pretty sure I have one of those.

 

Wait what? I thought I had them all. Maybe I have that one then. Hmmm.

 

I was there on Saturday and picked up a couple of those glasses with that color.

 

They had that glass color available at the pub the day after DLD. Not sure how long they had them prior to DLD or afterwards but it was definitely there the Sunday after DLD.

 

I definitely* have like a turquoise one and a green one.

*maybe? I dunno. I'll check when I get home.

 

Sweet! About time that purple was gone.

I guess I should have said 2 or 3 weeks ago.

 

I wonder if we can keep this thread going until next year and just rename it Dark Lord Day 2017.

I was just about to post the Water Boy meme with that red neck saying 'You Can Do It' but then I realized this thread would get locked down pretty quick if we keep poking the bear.

I bet this thread can stay alive. I plan on posting results of the mini vertical of '14-'15-'16 DL when my friends and I can meet up for some tasting, and I'll post my feedback when Handjee gets opened as well.

 

We're planning a Handjee / Militia tasting in the next few weeks as well. Keep it alive til 17!

 

Purple one is still on the website but I bought this one Friday night before DLD out of the kiosk. Maybe it was a pub only thing to go with the "Bloobs" theme. Can anyone confirm these are still available?

I feel like no one got Legio Gemina. There are hardly any reviews, check ins, or FT:ISO of it anywhere. I'm really excited to try it but it's just strange to me that it's so scarce around the web.

 

I got one. Haven't opened it yet. But yeah there is very little info about it online. I assume everyone is planning on aging it for a while.

 

I got it then it got stolen. I'm sure it'll show up on an auction site soon.

 

Yeah I thought Legio Gemina looked good. I ended up getting Temeculan 3000, which is basically Legio with Cardamom and Cinnamon. Hope it's good, but would have been nice if someone in my group picked Legio to do a comparison.

I think the other guys in my group picked Trump & Pump, Dwarven, & 2015 Muerte. (Group E)

 

How about the Legio label though--looking at Untappd it appears it started wrinkling up and falling off instantly with that weather. Wonder if the FVM label is different for whatever reason.

 

Nope. My FMV is kinda messed up. It's not terrible by any means, but I've pics of some that are just wrecked.

Most of the bottles are so awesome. It's a shame the FMV one looks so dumb.
