Mexican Speedway is tasting great. I'll admit that I don't have the greatest palate but I could easily pick out most of what I'm supposed to be tasting. Probably the best done tequila barrel beer I've had. Picked up my 4 and grabbed an extra 2.

I just picked up a bottle of the Mexican speedway right now after trying a taster of that and also on cask...good enough for one!

I found Mexican Speedway to be pretty mediocre. No real barrel presence, though I guess thats expected from a blend. I expected some sort of cinnamon / mexican chocolate flavor to be in my face, but it's fairly bland. Not a bad beer by any means, but for the price...? Meh.

Really? From the bottle or tap? I didn't really notice the tequila until after it warmed a bit but it was definitely there for me. *from the tap.
Had BA speedway, Vanilla Speedway, Mex Speedway and Ancho Chile Speedway, and could easily taste the difference in each one.

I think usually they end online sales the day of the release/pickups.

Got there at about 11:15 today and got two pours of the Mexican speedway and tequila was the real dominant flavor I got from the beer with a slight hint of cinnamon, the ancho Chile and vanilla variation's were great as well.

Just remember, there is NO mexican chocolate in this beer. Cinnamon, chocolate, mexican coffee. The chocolate that was used had reps there yesterday with samples and that little 4 bar box for sale.

Tap. Vanilla variant tasted off to me as well. BA Speedway was amazing as always.

I also really liked Lime X.

Haven't had Mexican Speedway yet but I am typically not a huge fan of what AleSmith has been doing with non coffee adjuncts. It seems like they prefer that the adjuncts support the base beer instead of overpowering it. Not necessarily a bad thing, but not exactly what I'm looking for.

Admittedly, I have limited experience with their tap room only stuff.

That is what this speedway variant is. Not overpowering, just supporting the base speedway. If that isn't your thing I would save you cash and wait for someone (i.e. me) to crack open a bottle and share it.

There's no green in this burrito, except for some salsa...but there is BASS in the glass. Your move.

No room. Actually with everything they loaded in it I also had to ask for double-wrap just to make sure it wouldn't explode while eating it.

I really enjoyed the Ancho speedway. Didn't have that bite that usually comes with the pepper, very smooth flavor.
