Boulevard - Rye on Rye "X" - Sazerac Cocktail

That's our hope too.

 

Kind of sad to not see Absinthe or at least Herbsaint used in the ingredients as those were really what gave the sazarac it's distinct flavor. I see the Anise in their but there is more to Absinthe/Herbsaint than just ansie. Either way, interested in trying this one.

 

Sounds absolutely amazing, but why release an imperial stout in the summer? Just wondering why this wasn't set for release during the colder months.

 

I don't give a flying frack what time of year this is released, I'm down with another Boulevard beauty. If this turns out like it should, remember the phrase "industry disruption"


This could be a major game changer. Maybe I'm throwing too much hyperbole out there........but maybe not.

 

The release date is based upon the time that the barrels became available to us and how long we wanted the beer to be in them. Lots of breweries, us included, brew year-round imperial stouts so I don't think it's too wild to release this in July.

 

The TTB doesn't allow you to fortify beer.

 

Some of us love drinking our delicious stouts year-round!

The demand for good beer cannot be bound by a calendar. Just turn up your air conditioning a bit and you won't notice it's summer. Or better yet, like a squirrel storing nuts for the winter, squirrel this one away now for a midwinter warmer.

 

Sazerac Cocktail sounds great! I'm looking forward to this. I'm hoping for a summer release date.

 

I drink Stouts year-round. And so do many others. Not everybody like Lagers, IPAs and Wheat beers. What's your point?

Sounds like Sazerac is shipping out now. Did these two switch spots on the calendar?

 

Rye-on-Rye X - Sazerac got bumped up to July and Imperial Stout X - Manhattan is currently scheduled for October.

 

Bahhhhh I wanted that Manhattan in the summer!

Do you guys have distribution in Kentucky? I'm moving there this week.

 

Cannot wait to try this....The Smokestack series is a personal favorite...

The Imperial Stout X coconut is a top 5 favorite...I cleared out two places when I was told distribution for it was ending for the next release....

 

An exceptionally good brew. Wouldn't we all love to see this in bottles.

 

I still haven't been able to the find the Rye-on-Rye X: On Rye anywhere in Indiana. Any particular reason for this?

 

Found a place nearby that had it on tap. 12oz pour. I had three.

 

I had two on tap in Gainesville after previously consuming a 12% stout and almost couldn't find my way back to the hotel.

 

Any update on Imperial Stout X: Manhattan, it seems to have been removed from 2016 release calendar? Also no sign of it on 2017....
