Brewing and Gambling: Casinos with Breweries

Chicago Brewing located in the Four Queens Hotel & Casino on historic Fremont Street in Las Vegas is one of my favorites!

 

Angel of the Winds in Arlington WA is brewing now, but, they basically extract brew, so is that really brewing? https://www.angelofthewinds.com/dining/brewery

 

One of the local casinos here has a brewery. I had some of their stuff at a Baconfest this past year. While I hadn't joined BA at the time, and I wasn't too diversified in my beer appreciation, I didn't think they were bad brews. I would like to go back and get a flight and see what I think now that I have a little more appreciation for good beer.

 

Playing cards and drinking fresh beer, I gotta try one of these places!!

There's a Brew Brothers in Columbus at Eldorado Scioto Downs Racino, too.

 

Ellis Island Casino is a Vegas tradition for me. Good enough beer, good BBQ, and always an interesting crowd.

 

Angel of the Winds is in Arlington WA.

 

As a poker player I always play completely sober, but would love some quality beer for after a session or tournament.

 

I just got back from Vegas and visited Triple 7 (inside the Main Street), Chicago (in the 4 Queens) and Big Dog's, as well as our annual visit to Ellis Island. In my opinion, none of these are top-notch breweries but they were all way above what my expectations were. Big Dog's has like 17 different beers they make on tap; Ellis Island only has a few beers but they are absolutely price-performance leaders ($2.50 a pint).

I haven't been to Angel of the Winds' brewery yet, but they have been advertising the heck out of it in Seattle.

One more thought: it is hard to fit a taster tray on the counter when all the seats have video poker machines at them.

 

Ha -- when I first read their tag line "Brew - Bake - Smoke", I assumed the taproom also had a cigar/weed lounge

 

Is it, though?

 

Always an interesting crowd might be an understatement. I was there on a Karaoke night and it was one of the most sublime experiences of my life.

 

I think i just went into overload.Beer....Check.....Gambling......Check............Flatline.
