I'm going to put together a recipe for an English barleywine. Toying with the idea of brewing a bitter with the second runnings.

Brew days went smooth other than low extract efficiency on all 3 brews and a messed up boil off/hop absorption rate (none with squeezing). I'm still happy with the beers I've got in the ferm fridge. Walked out this morning to brew and found the Red from Thursday with a clogged airlock and massive krausen. Hit is with a blow off and got all three beers in there for now (White IPA will come out into the higher temps in a day or two for more character).

Well not technically this weekend, since I have Tuesday off, but I'm going to brew up an English Coffee Porter. It will be my first time brewing a Coffee beer so I'm very excited. I plan on cold steeping some coffee over night then adding it to taste. It seems like my best bet unless anyone has other suggestions.

Brewed first 10 gal batch (IPA) on my new setup...things went surprisingly well (so far). Worse FU was forgeting whirfloc and yeast nutrient, but gravity was spot on and cleanup was not as bad as I thought it would be.

I'm out of the wife's kitchen finally, but I still see a lot of 5 gal batches in my future.

I brewed today, had my wife help me delabel some bottles to fill for a wedding I'm making beer for, so that was a great help.

Brewed an IPA I made from scratch pretty much.

Maris Otter, Vienna, Munich and some 20 and 40 crystal.

Did pretty much all Falconers Flight 7C's except for some Cascade around the 10 min mark. I have 1 oz of Citra whole leaf I'm gonna dry hop in the keg with. Hit all my numbers spot on at 1.070 OG. Should finish around 1.010. Hit all my mash temps and my efficiency was close to 80% on batch sparging, double infusion.

Smelled great, and wort tasted great for as good as unfermented shit can taste.

Pitched some 1056 on it to keep it clean.

Kegged an American Blonde for the wedding I brewed a few weeks ago, and I dry hopped the Simcoe/Amarillo/Citra IPA that I'm suspect that has taken on an infection in secondary... Not sure of it it. Taste good, not sour, no dropped gravity, but odd "lacto" like bubbles showing up on top! Ugh.

Going to take next weekend off brewing, and rack my Oatmeal Chocolate Porter on the vanilla beans and let it sit for a while.

Brewed an IPA with honey malt, nugget, sterling, and glacier hops. Honey goes in tomorrow or wednesday, some glacier dry hops on Friday or Saturday.
