Also the "Drinking Made Easy" episodes usually featured at least one brewery/brewpub for every city they went to.

There was a movie I saw randomly on TV one day with Ralph Macchio and Artie Lang on a softball team and, predictably, Artie Lang's character was drunk/drinking most of the movie.

God bless Google. The movie is called "Beer League" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0453453/?ref_=ttqt_qt_tt). It's not necessarily a "beer" movie per se, but it's one that I presume isn't on a lot of lists, so it might be worth a look. Really dumb slapstick, with NY wiseguy-style jokes. Nothing great, but I don't regret watching it.

After seeing "How Beer Saved the World" and "Crafting a Nation" I am looking for more beer documentarys.

Aside from those two and the shows put together by Dogfish and Brew Dogs are there any other good recommendations.

I never get tired of learning and enjoying the craft beer lifestyle!

If you liked crafting a nation you'll like beer culture, it's on YouTube, same director. Also American Beer, the road trip where they visit 38 breweries in 40 days. Beer wars is also not bad, it's a little out of date but still good.

I just hit up youtube and type craft beer and watch whatever is new, there are a lot of independent filmers that make their own docs with pretty cool footage and interviews.

Honestly my favorite documentaries that I love due to my love of beer aren't beer-related. Somm is great, A Year in Burgundy/Champagne are both interesting and I watched one about a traditional sake brewery last night (Birth of Sake) that was absolutely awesome. All are on Netflix AFAIK and all give you lots of background on processes similar to those used in brewing beer as well as science, history, etc. None are too dumbed-down and they all take themselves seriously.

Beer Hunter is the best beer one I have seen, sorry for the echo of others. The reason I like it so much is that it is done more like a 'serious' documentary than most of the things I have seen about beer are (even the good ones). I realize that a lot of smaller American craft breweries take pride in being irreverent and wacky, but I really like the more information-heavy documentaries.

I'd take Michael Jackson or something about wine/spirits that is really in-depth over pseudo reality shows any day, but that's just me....

This follows a similar path to "How Beer saved the World", but is different enough to be educational and enjoyable:

Beer League was awesome! A classic idiot comedy. Artie Lang plays a great drunk/bum type character.

I got about 30-40 min. into the Crafting a Nation last night. I'm finding this one quite boring, honestly, but I'll give its due and finish it out over the weekend. Beer Wars I enjoyed much better IMO. I've seen Brew Dogs (so/so), and Brewmasters (enjoyed).

I'll check out the others mentioned time permits.

That's because he wasn't really playing a character, that seems to be his real personality.
