It's not too surprising. It happens normally with all of the breweries, including tradehouse; i mean uhh, tree house. The sad part is the majority of the cans will be traded, and the minority enjoyed by the local population. Not that it's a bad that people get to try things they can't get where they are, but it is what craft beer is nowadays.

Juice Bomb - one of the worst phrases to come out of the beer community.

Almost as bad as haze for days.

As for cutting, I was probably number 6 in line for the city slickers release. First release I went to was All Citra, so I showed up absurdly early this time around. I assume it was "#whalezcrew" in front of me, drinking at 6am and shit-faced by 8. By the time 9am rolled around I was probably 16th in line. So yes there is definitely cutting. Being non-confronting, i just let it slide, I would still get my beer anyway.

I think people just like using the term 'bomb' to describe beer...its always been like that on this site.

I've only been to the chill realeases (get wheated, city slickers, AGE) and have never come really early to see the line. If I get there around 7am should I be ok, and how is the parking when there is a ridiculous line?

I dunno, didn't they say this about "!"? That beer thoroughly underwhelmed me. Maybe I'm in the minority there, though.

Park a few blocks away and walk over. You can usually find more spots on the other side of the BQE.

What time do you think ensures one some cans? Since I'll only be in town this once, I was hoping for a quieter release to guarantee some cans. The limit seems high....do we really need 32 IPAs....just hoping I don't have to get in line before 8am....but sounds like it.

This is going to be the craziest release in a while, just All Citra was a crazy release and this adds another All ___ Everything" variant as well as a "juice bomb" (fuck that term).

Rain in the forecast for Saturday. Should make the +4 hour line wait that much more pleasant. :slight_frown:

With the weather weve been having, I wouldn't trust a forecast this far out.

Exactly. Swing by Canton too and come back with an infinitely better haul.

It's a little more than "swing by" distance, but the trip to Canton is more worthwhile to make with the haul you can come away with. It's tough to justify heading all the way to TH to come back with only a 12-pack, unless you bring along a significant other/mule or have another reason to be heading in that general direction.
