Oops, I wasnt referring to you sharing on this forum, I was referring to all the people who comment with their friends usernames instead of using instagram's share feature. It just makes it so much more difficult to read ACTUAL comments...

 

Use the "media" button - the one that looks like a filmstrip - and then just copy/paste the URL for the instagram post. The beers look awesome btw! Bummed I'm away on work all month and going to miss out on all of the Grimm releases this month, especially Future Perfect which looks sick.

 

You guys have the best labels! Who designs them? As a graphic designer I always wondered how to get my foot into the beer label world.

 

@Grimm_Artisanal_Ales Is this going to be your typical IPA distribution? If so, do you foresee getting back to Lambo Door numbers with any of your releases?

I think the story is that Lauren and Joe (Grimm) design their own labels, harking back to their art school days. If you start making beer, you can put your own foot in!

How big of a batch, cans or case wise, is Forcefield? Just gauging if I have a chance in hell to even get any of them. Send more to Rockland County!

 

Lauren design about half of the labels from scratch and uses Gretta's art for the other half. The stuff lauren does on her own tends to be more minimalist and the gretta ones are more voluptuous. for example lauren did vacay, rainbow dome, tesseract while gretta did future perfect, purple prose, double negative.

it's the same size as usual -- we actually got a bit of a short yield this time but it's not going to affect NY state at all.

 

A note about Forcefield:
We released a beer called Forcefield last year. This year's forcefield is TOTALLY DIFFERENT and has basically nothing to do with last year's. We just liked the name.

 

Looks really delicious! What's the hop profile & abv for this new beer?

 

It's 6.4% and almost a single hop Azacca beer, but it has a bit of Columbus as well.

 

Awesome! Really looking forward to it.

 

top hops has vis a vis listed as a brett pilsner.

 

Definitely hope Whole Foods does the whole "save it for Friday" thing again.

Someone asked WF on Untappd and they said Wednesday

 

My understanding is the Grimm shipment is set to arrive at Union's warehouse on Wed, so I wouldn't expect WF to receive anything until Friday at the earliest.

Not exactly breaking news since he's said before that they're looking at options, but negotiating a lease is definitely a step further!
