I was thinking big guys like Stone, Sierra Nevada, Green Flash, etc. I'd put FW in with that group, Bear Republic I would not.

Either way, you can't get their shelf beer fresh, and you usually just can't get their limited beers at all, both of which are a shame because they brew some great beer.

I tried some of the Double Jack when I was on vacation in NH last year. A local liquor store carried it. It was very good! Was that the only NE state that had it?

As of 2014, Stone, FSW, SN, and Bear Republic were all in the top 50 biggest breweries in the country. They're all huge.

RI has Double Jack...however I mostly order it on tap when I see it, as the stock on shelves never seems fresh enough.

I will be doing my part to make sure that any Pivo that does hit the shelf fresh doesn't have the chance to sit around and get old. I think that's the one shelf beer they're bringing that's superior to available alternatives in the state, especially if this is another Elm City-less summer.

Pivo Pils is tasty. I agree it will not sit on shelves long.

I will be excited to try Luponic Distortion if I see it fresh. I saw it on Long Island last week but I passed since it was from February.
