Been outta the game for awhile. Gonna brew up a SMASH beer to get a taste of some new hops. Any recommendations? Big IPA and Pale ale fan. Normally use cascade, centennial, simcoe.....

There are lots of New Zealand varieties that would make a rest SMASH, I've grown fond of Montueka and Pacifica lately. Plus there are some great hop blends (SMASH loophole?) like Zythos.

There are so many new cultivars it is almost impossible for me to keep up. And I love hops...

Don't know how long is a while, so these might not be new.

Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, someone already said Galaxy.

Galaxy sounds pretty tasty, might go that route.

I did a single hop IPA with Mosaic and many people tasted passion fruit, which was well received. I will be brewing this again.

Being new to homebrewing, I'm still using kits - but the family favorite is a single hop IPA brewed with El Dorado. It's El Dorawesome.

throwing Enigma hops into the hat as well. Trillium brewed an Enigma Dry Hopped Fort Point version and it was fantastic

One of the best smashes I have made was with Nelson Sauvin. Even better than Citra!

Mosaic has my vote if you haven't already had tons of mosaic smash beers. Otherwise Mandarina Bavaria while a mellow hop has great drinkability
