Threes Brewing in Brooklyn?

1st Anniv tonight! I'll be there around 5 or so.

 

Just read a review on Superf*ckingyawn in Paste Magazine however the more important story buried in the last paragraph of the review states "Don’t worry; while Threes is currently only on tap at the moment, they are planning to begin canning their beers this April, with Superf*ckingyawn being the fifth or sixth can release."

Oh shit! Getting into the canning game? That is excellent news.

 

Good thing I didn't have anything negative to say about the review! Jk. It was a solid review. I didn't love Superf*ckingyawn when I had it last year but really love the rest of their IPA lineup. Your review convinced me to give it another shot.

And it's great news that they are canning.

 

Ha for sure. They have conquered the feat of making a big ipa that doesn't like you're taking a shot. It's pretty awesome, and somewhat dangerous bc you would never think with all the juice it would be 9.5%.

 

Bump for Threes, get that Nothing is Forever while you can. It's a great barrel aged stout!

When can I get in line for cans or bottles at Threes???

 

I hear they are going to can in the near future.

 

Will there be a kickstarter for the canning line?

Felt it was worth it that these guys had their own thread. Great space to visit (especially in the summer), great rotating food options, lots of new and solid beer offerings.

Big fan of Threes. Particularly their Pale Ales. I had heard somewhere they were going to get into the canning game soon. Can anyone else confirm?

Not that active/comprehensive and felt they deserved another. The whole kickstarter thing is in the past and the backyard is a dope place to hangout in my opinion.

Half Serious was seriously excellent.

Nothing is Forever is one of my top BA stouts of the year. So much barrel character, so smooth.

 

I've been on the fence on some of three's pale ales / IPA's. Tried superfuckingyawn and thought it was really malty

I love their brewery space tho

 

Half serious was amazing but I think that was mostly Jason doing his typically thing. Most of the people I know all agreed that beer didn't taste like a three's beer at all

 

Do you know if City Hops still has it on tap?
