Do zeelander and sol hunter hit distro or is this a taproom only release? Also I was wondering on average how often king sue has been brewed in the past is it only once a year or more?

 

I believe taproom only for sol and zee. The last 3 King sue releases were last August, December, and February.

 

Thoughts from a TG visit yesterday: Scorpius Morchella is quite good. Sol Hunter tastes like last time (good!), at least from what I can remember. Bottles of Zee were 8 bucks (used to be 7.49, I think), Sol was 7.

 

Hop prices are on the rise, I expect beer prices to follow suit.

 

I've been waiting (anxiously) for King Sue news. I tried to research past release dates to see if there was any indication for when they might be released. I quickly came up with:

12/22/15
7/17/15

Yes, 2.19 was the last batch. How long have you been waiting anxiously? You likely could've still gotten some of the last batch via trade when you started your anxiousness lol...

 

There was a batch w/o Mike in early May '15 and Regifter (a possibly ruined King batch) was a couple months prior to that.

 

They dropped a firkin of Pompeii dry hopped with Mosaic today that is sublime.

 

I had a bottle in December and it was great. But I'd like to use a case of King as an excuse for my next (5 hour) drive to Decorah. I couldn't make it in February due to work

 

This brewery has really grown on me.

 

anyone have an idea how much zee/sol is left. i read somewhere 250 cases of each were made? hoping it lasts to the weekend.

 

I heard they both hit Nova today

 

Any news on DDH Sue? I'm heading up tomorrow and hoping it will be available

 

They just tweeted it got pushed back till next week, likely Tuesday.

 

Looks like I'll have to make a second trip next week too
