Cellarmaker to start bottling.

I'm swinging through tonight for sure with growlers in hand.

 

Bangarang! is getting tapped today according to their menu. Imma get a pint of that and a growler of the Sabrosa

 

How about tequila barrel aged? That would definitely be something new for Cellarmaker!

 

Here on a Thursday afternoon. Not too full. Double comfy pants and bb vastness of space f***ing amazing. I am really amazed this place doesn't get more hype, but thankful!!

 

Website updated today to reflect May 17 release of Coffee and Cigarettes ($10). No surprise here, I expected C&C to be an early release.



Coffee and Cigarettes is our lightly smoked Coffee Porter. We use small amounts of German Beechwood Smoked Malt as well as high quality English malts to create a chocolatey and roasty base beer. Then we add incredibly potent Sightglass Coffee (whose roastery is right around the corner). The coffee selection for each batch is unique and is based on what coffee varietals are tasting best to our brewers.

Tuesday May 17th. Same deal as usual: bottled that day and available at 2pm. Date subject to change.

Glad they are bottling it. Disappointed that it means it won't be growlerable when C&C comes back.

Welp I passed on the IPAs because I prefer draft anyway for hoppy beers, but I'll have to hit them up after work that day for this one.

 

Also says "We will also be bottling a smaller batch of Double IPA made for City Beer Store's 10th Anniversary during the same bottling session. Bottles of that one will be available exclusively at City Beer Store on Tuesday as well. Not a bad day to head on down to the SoMa and grab some treats."

 

That and Dobis which I'm sure they'll bottle at some point.

 

According to their twitter they are doing a collab with Omnipollo. They shared a picture of them cookin' up some pancakes. They are obviously making a pancake IPA. People went apeshit for their milkshake IPAs they did with Tired Hands, so why not?

Honestly, I doubt it. Both of their previous releases lasted until the next day with ease. In fact, mt nelson was so casual to swing by after work to grab bottles it was funny to watch all these people show up frenetically trying to buy it before it sold out. I expect C&C to go pretty much the same way, maybe a little quicker but not by much.

 

It's got coffee in it. You know how crazy the kids get about coffee in their beers.

 

Anyone know the price and limit for 300 steps (city beer store)?

 

The answer is at least 3 and $40 per bottle are the current FS posts I am seeing. lelz.
