I have the exact same schedule and I agree. It does depend a lot on what is released though.

The previous Alien Church release did sell out faster. I believe you may have needed to be in line before 5 for that one. It's up for debate how important the difference is since it still sold out fast but it's not as fast.

    Agreed!

Having stated that I would hope that Jean will consider the various comments and take appropriate action. Any conscientious brewery owner/brewer should not want QA/QC problems to continue.

    Cheers!

I'm not denying that they aren't selling out but that doesn't necessarily tell the whole story. If 1,000 people wanted cans 5 months ago and 500 people want them today, they're still going to sell out so it seems like everything is on track but obviously the demand isn't as high and like I said, it's only been 5 months. We'll see what happens if they keep releasing beers with a 2-3 week shelf life in a year from now or 3 years from now. 3-4 months ago they could have released 300 cases instead of 150 or so and they still would have sold out the same day, that's not the case anymore and it will only continue down that path if they don't listen to their consumers.

That's like saying that just because next year's BCBS variants will sell out that they didn't lose any customers because of this year's issues.

AC has sold out quickly consistently, the only ones that have ever really made it to day 2 are the helles (which you might still be able to get) and pineal which may have been because of the proximity to anniversary and 2 other can releases. I do agree consitancy is an issue, but looking how fast alien church and hophands sell out, the hype machine is still in full motion.

FYI - Hop Hands has made it to a second day at least twice. That's the only way I was able to grab it.

FWIW that is the way I see it too.

@JStampler brought up the topic of "a year from now or 3 years from now". Will Tired Hands still be selling out their can releases in less than 24 hours in that timeframe? I suppose we will collectively know the answer to that in 1-3 years.

    Cheers!

Honestly I'm not seeing this drop off that some people here are reporting. just had my last high road the other day and it was great.

First timer to the Fermentaria today. Hoping to arrive around 5:30.

I see a parking map on the website. Is parking typically difficult to find? Considering having the other person I will be traveling with jump out of the car and get in line while I find parking.

At that time that may be the best plan. Let them grab a spot and go park at the lot at the end of the block.

I usually drive down past the turn for Tired Hands a little ways (on Rittenhouse Pl) - there is usually parking down near the end of the line of shops. Trying to park at the Tired Hands lot or directly across the street was not worth it. Easier to just park a little further and walk back up the street. Plus, nice arm workout when you have to carry the case back to your car, haha

Yes, at 5:30 you will almost definitely have to find street parking which is not always easy. It could be a few blocks walk. Your best bet is to drop off your buddy to hold your place in line while you find a spot.

Hop Hands has been available the next day at least 3-4 different times. I think they only sold out the first day on their first release. Helles was available for something like 10 days and Pineal, Rose, Trendler, D2H3 Mosaic and Foliage were all available the following day. There may have been others as well.

I literally have parked in the exact same spot that last few times, as you come down Cricket Terrace from Cricket Ave, on your right you will see S. Cricket Terrace and a little round bit of road, that, FWIW has no meter immediately in front of it, and can't really tell if the curb is painted, and no "No Parking" sign. It is directly across from the TH parking lot and its always free...

I wish the releases were like a smidge earlier. I typically show up just right at 5pm and pay for an hour, but I'm hoping to leave shortly after 5 this time, so came early. Parking simply isn't worth it. I come alone and don't feel like being the person asking to have my spot held, and can't leave to fill the meter. Taking a risk on 2 hr parking 5 min away
Also a lil confused bc this time it looks like the line starts at the garage, but then curves back toward the metered parking lot. Wonder how long they've been doing that

Can releases started that, businesses complained about the lines in front of their places

Real talk. Instagram Homeboy who chugged a milkshake like an idiot just walked by. Line getting close to the end of the block. Almost 4 now.

Is it wrong that I want them to lower the allotment just to hear that guy rant all over the internet how Tired Hands wronged him....

To the end of the block just outside of the big doors where it wrape around to the fron entrance? Or do you mean all the way across the parking lot?
