Looks like it's already popping up. Here's hoping that means more bottles and less line.

Theirs is likely a show, no tell as folks are wont to do on BA. BeerShop in Oak Park was selling it today. Whether there is a street date of Friday similar to Vallejo that some stores are ignoring, not sure.

 

Yeah, I considered that might be the case but figured I'd ask anyway. Seems lame if someone were to post a picture and say they got it but not be willing to share...but I guess that's just me! Especially since it's not some super-rare beer.

I did read that the Beer Bistro is having a tap takeover on the 26th I believe. I want to say 20+ but I am tired and not sure.

My favorite HA beer (and favorite citra beer, actually)! Fantastic way to start off the summer.

 

How long is the line for GDDC? 3? 4 blocks long?

Granted, last year the issue wasn't how long the line was, but that one hipster would be waiting in line and then 8 of his hipster buddies would show up right before he entered the shop and cut in in front of everyone.

 

They need to start canning these releases like Rev has started doing.

 

Yeah, I've been asking for more BHA cans for like a year. My guess is that they'll start doing that again soon, but I assume they've got a specific reason why they haven't been.

 

Impressive line thus far

 

Impressive as in long? Or impressive as in a nice surprise to have a line that is organized and not too long? I have a feeling I know which it is, but just figured I'd ask!

 

I don't think I'll ever understand the line ups at half acre.

 

Why's that? Just curious. Do they make plenty and no need to?

I enjoy some half acre beers and like the taproom. lining up? you might be right, prob just not worth it from the beer stand point imo.

 

He's talking about lining up for beer.

Pretty much every beer they package goes to distro, and is also available later in the day, and most times, for weeks later, at the store.

 

1) Usually they have enough, and 2) people lining up for IPAs and Pales.
