Homeless folks had had a tough week in St Pete with the high bottle limits but tomorrow is going to be like Christmas Day X 10 for them....they are going to have a lot of new best friends with possible bidding wars breaking out for their services

With all due respect, that group is stupid! Hah. Hey they can do whatever they want with their time...

...but anyone reading this, don't go to panic mode! You will be fine showing up close to 7:30 and getting your bottle. If the mule game is strong it will sell out to the line at 8am.

Yes, everyone that showed up by 8:45 got bottles.

He counted (like usual) to make sure everyone there by 8:30 (since he buffers for those showing up after final 8am count) gets their allotment.

Normally I would agree with this but tomorrow based on some of the stuff I heard in line there easily could be more people there by 7:30 than available bottles...I mean Doug must be expecting craziness by already announcing one bottle only limit a day in advance...you show up at 7:30 tomorrow there is a good chance your only going home with a terrible story and a bad cup of coffee

Well isn't there only like 300 total bottles available of it. That would make sense why he announced only 1PP so early.

Probably on a Facebook group. A buddy of mine added me to one where people trade / sell / raffle beer and bourbon. I'll probably never participate, but it's shocking to see the amount of money some folks are posting/making from flipping bottles.

So I'm curious for everybody's thoughts on letting some of this weeks bottles get some time on them. I wouldn't say my plan is to age necessarily but I would like to make them stretch out a bit too. I know the bottles state to drink fresh but wanted to see what thoughts are on here. These are pretty big beers.

I swear I saw it somewhere, I could be completely wrong though. Let me dig a little and find it.

The Rare Dos bottles will hold up well over time or at least they have in the past, since they aren't adjuncts. All of Cycles bottles say drink fresh, as it ensures that people don't expect the beer to be fantastic 4 years from now. But I've had some 2 year old Rare Dos and a few other cycle bottles and they hold up well. Some other bottles have been hit or miss with age. Nooner 8 actually got better IMO because some of the Hazelnut faded (minimal), but Nooner 10 definitely lost some coconut over time and was way better fresh. So I'd drink the Dos Brunch for the coffee now, but the others should be good for a while. Still they are great fresh.

People need to relax. There is more scoop than Wednesday and at 1pp Wednesday lasted to noon.

If you get there at 745 you'll be fine.

1/3 of 2100 bottles of each of the rare variants is still 700 bottles which is way way way more bottles than people lining up.

Will be heading down to the West Palm / Fort Lauderdale area next Friday for a week. Any idea how long it typically takes the CCB releases to be distributed to the stores in SE Florida?

Would love to get a bottle or two of Caffe Americano. Also, any idea if this can be found on tap outside of the Tampa Bay area?
