    Been mullering some homebrew

Interesting how oxygenated these beers are compared to so many commercial beers. About the same unfortunately.

After the stress and strain on Sunday of dealing with the jittery jumping at shadows security alerts (including 1 next to our office) generated by the Old Trafford terrorist readiness exercise I wasn't up to faffing for my end of week swift half.
    Popped in spoons
Had the always welcome coach house Gunpowder Mild
Then the huge malt Milestone little john
Going home to recover now with many bottles
    & plenty of stout

Balanced out the 1915 mild with Weird Beard Holy Hoppin Hell DIPA which in my opinion is the greatest uk DIPA, and I enjoyed it more than the Cloudwater or Magic Rock efforts.
Then a half of Founders Breakfast Stout, quite fairly priced at £3 for a half.
Followed by a disappointing Wild Beer Co Dark Horse Porter, which was watery and left you wondering why a brewery would think it was an acceptable beer to sell.

Lovely pint of Belleville Northcote Blonde in the pub garden of the White Swan in Twickenham, right on the riverside.

I had the Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar tonight. What a delicious brew. I'm huge on DIPAs right now. Still have BBNo 55|01 in the fridge and another Cloudwater v3 in the wings. Anyone have another DIPA recommendation that I could check out?

Can of Wychwood King Star "Crafted Lager" .

meh. It's a bit odd, although wychwood putting out an export strength lager is mildly amusing
