Yes, they have that bar/food area with some nice tap selections in the back? They hold the Grimm cans back there and you have to ask the bartender for them.

 

I heart Tesseract with all my heart. I also liked Pulsewave and was a fan of Cloudbusting but I also really like Southern Hemisphere hops. I loathe El Dorado which is probably why I didn't like Lambo and won't like the beer they're putting out next week.

Do the WF's in New York do beer holds for you guys?

I can call ahead in the WF in Maine and they hold limited released beers all the time for me.

 

We don't just get one case. But it is a hassle - constant phone calls, people walking in just looking for grimm and not checking out the taplist or what else we have, etc. We upped to 2pp cans because I agree that 1 is too little...I like having 1 fresh and then another in the 1-2 week range.

Sorry, Money probably kicked right before you stopped in and NvU probably sold out same day. I try to keep BM as updated as possible.

WF TriBeCa 1/1 limits

 

WF Tribeca used to, I remember they held afterimage for people during the first canning. Its just too crazy now though. They also got some other great bottles in if you guys are headed over. Lil brett, hoptimum and stuff.

 

We sold out but we're getting more next week and we have a keg we're waiting to tap downstairs.

 

Has anyone had Vis a Vis yet? ABC Broadway has it on and was wondering if it was worth a stop.

 

Tribeca was doing 2+1 but they're down to 1+1.

 

Just saw on Twitter they are canning Lumen IPA in the future.

 

I know its not possible, but limited releases should all drop at the same time at WF. Im sure some folks who picked up from Tribeca are heading up to CC at noon.

 

Anyone seeing anything hitting Long Island yet? Maybe pequa beverage???

 

Bottles were at several shops in Suffolk as of yesterday. Only saw the Cans at 1 (Bayport Superstar) who was close to sold out by 5PM.

 

Had it there last night. It tasted like a more bitter prima pils to me. Pretty average (no offense) but wouldn't be worth going out of your way for, in my opinion.

 

East Meadow Beverage Barn had cans midday yesterday, so highly likely that they're out.

 

Milk and Hops chelsea gets theirs today, Astor is next week.

 

I'm going to Milk & Hops for dinner tonight anyways. HOPE IT'S STILL AROUND AT 530
