Psyched to see Boogie Board Stuntz back, kegs popping up around Queens too.

I had Stuntz at Earl's Beer and Cheese the other night, it was good, but not Lime Green Galaxies Good. Possibly because I didn't have super high expectations for it but LGG was one of my favorite beers they've put out recently.

Anyone go try ADE last night? First reviews weren't too solid on untappd.

You consider an overall rating of 4 stars from a sample size of 17 ratings not solid?

I know it's a SSS, but I do. First of all, it's <4 and usually the first few checkins are driven by hype and inflated if anything

Untappd is really inflated. Anything <4 generally represents a lower tier beer on that platform.

Then how exactly could you know if it's not solid by the rating?

If it was a higher rating than 3.985 the same exact thinking you just explained would be even more possible.

What rating with only 17 reviews would indicate it was solid to you?

With only 17 reviews, I certainly expect >4 avg at least. Especially since people inflate the shit out of ratings. Usually when they tap something people go in, give it a 5 and say OMG JUICE BOMB, etc. This time it's not like that. So I just found it odd. That's all I'm saying, not sure why we're arguing over the semantics of untappd ratings. This beer is hyped, I thought the first few reviews would rate it higher, that's all.

I think the over inflated ratings will come once people stand on line a few hours for it.

Just realized two nights ago I still had a 4-pack of Get Wheated left. (what happens when you get full allotment for yourself).
Cracked one open and it was still delicious.

I'm coming up with ideas for OH to make their releases not so hectic, do you guys think they read these threads? I would love to shoot ideas to them....

    the obvious solutions would be:

-lower the limit to 1 4pack per beer for the stuff that is clearly in demand, to make it not worth the time for people driving over bridges and paying tolls, or paying for a task rabbit. they'd still sell out of everything same day.

-instead of giving 10 days notice, even announcing the night before would be a huge improvement if they are philosophically opposed to silent releases for some reason

the fact that they've never even tried out these ideas is telling, they like it the way it is.

Its looking like the rain may hold off until opening. I'm having such decision anxiety right now.
