Honest to God he had them in bright orange shirts...looked like prison garb which it actually may have been....may have been some sort of work release program

Such a bad practice. Some deserve to have their thread shit on. Especially the earlier one for KBBS or SR-71x2. That one deserved it. Also like you said, it can create fake hype. I usually hold onto my limited beers for a minute to let the fake crap die down. I do not enjoy fooling people like some try and do.

I heard someone was at the S&M shop down the street looking for shackles. Can't confirm this though.

I hear ya. I definitely don't hate the brewery or the beer and I realize this shit goes on in many states. Some states and some people have worse reputations and most are deserved. The few beers I've had from Cycle or older ones from Pegs were great but when I see the majority of the FT's are ridiculous (fishing or not) then I won't even bother because that's what many of those people actually expect. That's not just Cycle but any brewery.

For example, when I see FT: Scoop ISO: SR-71 X 2 and other offers that are close but not as extreme then I won't even bother throwing up some of the better beers I have (i.e. A&T, LPF '08, 50N) because that's not in the ball park of what these people are clearly looking for...the most and/or rarest beer they can get with the latest hyped beer of the week. Well it may be in the ball park but not for me. Thanks but I don't feel like playing along and contributing to the hysteria.

If you threw up an offer of A&T or 50N or whatever rare lambic I'm pretty sure you'd get bites. You have to remember that not all of the people with scooop are shitlords. Throw up your offer and see what happens. It's not going to hurt to try.

I'm not sure how I feel about this...using homeless as mules for beer, but I give the guy credit for giving someone in need a meal. Sure, his charity was rooted in selfishness, but most charity has some sort of agenda.

How about Scoop for Derivation 1 AND 2....or Scoop for "Other 3 Sons Bottles"?..(Scoop is the first 3 Sons Bottle)...I don't know how the beer is, but it's been worth it for the crazy trade posts I have seen so far

3 Sons has bottled summation and a few others for friends etc. So Scoop isn't the 1st bottle of 3 sons. These posts aren't any worse than the AB MZ w/ Vanilla. And most of that group is from outside of FL. Ignore and move on.

Cycle is tapping all 5 beers from the week today at 5pm.

I think you hit the key point though... this is the first commercially available 3Sons bottle. Prior to now, you had to know Cory or be lucky enough to attend a small ticketed event where bottles were donated for a charity raffle.

I'm not here to add fuel to that value fire... just pointing that out as a driver.

doesn't mean someone with a Derivation 1 & 2 will give up both bottles for 1 Scooop.

That offer is by far the best today.

I'm sure I would, well actually based on what I've seen I'm not so sure. I was just using that as an example, personally there's no way I would do it 1:1 but that's just me, not saying it wouldn't get done with someone else who is a hard core ticker.

Personally I don't care about the ISOs that some people calling crazy, it's a free market. If people want to value a $30 bottle at $500 that's fine if someone wants to pay that or trade for it.

This is why I only trade less than 5 people out of town. I get you good beer and you do the same. If one side ends up not holding up their end of the deal then call it off.

Luckily, I have friends in town that all enjoy beer as much as me so we just all share our beer together and so not everyone has to wait in line all the time for beer. Works out nicely.

I was trading heavily for awhile but then bought a new house and when I packed up all my beer it was an absurd amount and realized I was just accumulating beer to do it. Decided to just start drinking it all. Not regretting my decision.

Funny one I have seen is ISO MBP x2 (because of bottle format) :astonished:. That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works. lol

Funniest part was he stated "he does not have to justify this", but goes ahead and tries to justify it ...

These ISOs should really be no surprise to people. Not saying they are warranted or going to get done but they were bound to show up
