It's taken a while, but I'm finally starting to see the event calendar updated on the site. http://eugenebeerweek.org/ I suspect this is still just the tip of iceberg; for instance there's nothing listed here from 16 Tons. I do know that the taphouse (16 tons) will be hosting a pFriem tap take over on 6/2, and was told they're expecting to have 19 different pFriem beers on tap for the event (at least that's what I heard). They're also listing an Alesong/16 tons farmhouse panel on 6/1, and then the website lists a kickoff event of some sort on 5/30. I'd call and ask them what it is, but seeing as how they don't ever answer their phone... Anyway, hopefully the website will continue to be updated periodically now, as we get closer to the event.
I've also posted a few events in this thread as well: http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...pringfield-winter-spring-2016-edition.382654/
Info is indeed coming soon, but the Wed evening Farmhouse event will feature Paul Arney, Sean Burk, Tobias Schock and Matt Van Wyk. Should be a pretty good Q&A panel.
Indeed. Just learned today that Mr. Arney will be bringing some AA bottles down for the occasion. It's been several years since I've seen any AA bottles on the shelves down here in Eugene, so this is one more reason to try to attend this event (for all that it's on a "school night."
Is the Blues, Brews & BBQ event on the 4th not part of Eugene Beer Week? I heard a rumor many if not all Sasquatch breweries were going to be at that event.
Not as far as I know. I haven't been to any of the previous BBB events, and in fact, completely forgot it was taking place on 6/4/16. Frankly, your post is the first I've heard about it this year.
Online mentions seem scarce for the 2016 event, but I was talking to someone who has attended previous Sasquatches and was bummed about the cancellation, and that's where I heard BBB was bulking up their beer contingent.
A little more info sent in a not-so-public email... I dunno how many of you sour freaks were planning on going to Tower of Sour at the Stein on Wednesday next week, but the date has changed to Friday June 3rd. Beers will still be on all day. Teaser: fest will include a flight of 4 peach sours: Logsdon Peche & Brett, pFriem Peche, Block 15 Turbulent Consequence - Peche (also pouring at the beer dinner with Alesong Tuesday), and Oakshire's 9th Anniversary. If you're not drooling yet....

Just as an "oh by the way." With respect to the Ballast Point event at Beergarden, I'm showing that they currently have 27 BP beers on tap. I don't get out all that much, so this may not come as that great a surprise, but I have never in my life seen that many BP beers on tap at any BP event (and I went to several during Philly beer week in the past). Very impressive... I do believe I know where I'm going tonight after the 16 tons event.
