@e34john I'm good with you as the 12th and final member and will work out vouchers for you in private as you mentioned in your message.

So here's what I'm thinking. With 12 people each person will get two squads. We will do total points earned in group play and then points for the knockout round will still be 3 for a win, and I'll award one bonus point if your team loses in extra time or a penalty shootout (basically getting it to the point where it'd be a draw otherwise).

With 12 people, I'm going to do three winners so nine boxes will be sent out (if you win you don't send).

1st - 5
2nd - 3
3rd - 1

Minimum of 66 ounces of 90 or higher rating (unless you are hitting a want/it's a solid beer your target will like). Basically, just make your target happy.

The final is on July 10, so I'm setting Monday, August 15 as the final deadline to send. Definitely feel free to send earlier and let's try to ship early in the week to keep the hot truck time to a minimum.

We will do snake draft (first person will get first overall pick and last, second person will get second and 23rd, and so on). I did some quick math and while those at the top will still have better odds of winning by having their team go all the way, getting a zero on the other end makes it almost even with someone getting two decent teams that both made the round of 16.

Unless anyone has any major disagreements with this, I'm going to use the website http://fftoolbox.scout.com/draft_order_generator.cfm to randomly select the order and we can start the draft.

Also, if you haven't sent me your name, address, phone and email, please do that so I can organize that. If you are living somewhere other than where your profile says, let me know that too, as that's important when determining senders.

Finally, I'm still trying to figure out a way to get individual scorers involved as well, but figure it would have to be something separate. If you want to do that as well, mention it in your message and I'll see if the interest is high enough to do a side bet wagering one box.

@PA-Michigander will have the first pick and @VaTechPhilly is on deck. Once you make your pick, make sure to tag the next person and also delete the country from the list below. @craftsb41 will have the 12th and 13th pick and then we will go in reverse order.

Also, one more reminder on how the scores will be tallied. You will get the total points earned in group play for both your teams (three points for win, one for draw). If either or both of your teams qualify for the round of 16, you will get an additional three points for each win and one point if your team loses but took the match to extra time or penalty kicks (basically would have been a draw had it not been a knock-out).

Finally, while we didn't have enough interest to make the individual scorers part of the overall competition, I'm working on something a little less involved that will be used as a tiebreaker.
