Just about to ask about Roosevelt on here and saw on Instagram that release was delayed.

@masterob8 How much is going into cans? Limits?

    From this week's newsletter:
    ROOSEVELT DIPA CANS
Featuring Citra, Ella, Motueka, and Topaz hops, this DIPA will be ready at noon for release. It's hopped as generously as our Year Four DIPA, so you can smell it from across the room. $16/4-pack, limit half-case (three 4-packs) per customer, 8.0% alc. by vol.

Sadly, our glycol chiller went down last night and the beer is too warm to can. We have a back up chiller that we switched on and we are getting it back down to packaging temps as fast as possible. Should be able to can it tomorrow.

On for today? Thinking of making a trip. Never mind - I see via twitter they are on for the day.

Half-case limit, 100-120 cases? Welp, guess that's another small batch Night Shift beer I'll be missing out on because it's released at noon on a weekday with high limits.

Would keeping limits to a single 4-pk pp (or even two 4pk pp) really hurt anything?

Drinking a can of Roosevelt right now...for quality control. First cases just started to roll off the line.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees it this way. It was nice that they lowered it from a case limit that they had with the 4yr, but still 120 cases and a half case limit on a weekday noon release.

The Year 4 DIPA had No Limits. This time we set it significantly lower. Most people don't buy the full limit so we anticipate about 400 people will snag Roosevelt. Also have 5 half barrels for draft pours.

I for one found the half-case limit of Roosevelt this past Friday to be very fair. At $16 per four-pack, a lot of people made the decision to walk home with just one or two. The beer is unbelievably tasty. I hope you guys will be brewing this one again soon!
